If you like writing, this game is a fintastic companion to having running at the bottom of your word-processor :D Each key-stroke counts as a 'click', so the more you type the faster you reel lil fishies in. Then you can take a break between paragraphs/pages/moments-of-writer's-block and manage your little sushi shop and aquarium. It's honestly made me more productive in my writing even in the short time I've been using it, and the art style is just super cute with lots of content

I am slowly becoming a Connoisseur of Idle games. This one has held my interest the longest. Very simple game, take your boat out to fish, sell fish you catch at Sushi bar, make enough coin to buy or upgrade better equipment, unlock new zones, catch different fish, start a Hatchery, and breed fish. Graphics are good for an Indie game, music is super chill, and game play is Excellent. I highly recommend this Idle Game. 10/10
I'm a little confused. I usually love those types of games and this one has overwhelmingly positive reviews so I was sure I'll like it. If it was anything like the sushi bar in Dave The Diver, count me in! Except it's literally only cosmetics here? The only thing you can upgrade is fishing rods, meanwhile at 20 minutes in I'm already frustrated with how slow the bar is. You can't add seats, you can't upgrade staff, you can't add more menu items, you can't upgrade the customer flow... Boats change nothing, appearance changes nothing... There isn't really any point in doing this except to get all the fish which is nice but with so many other fishing games this one has nothing going for it.
This is a hidden gem of a game, honestly. Many hours worth of relaxing fishing & picking what to sell sushi wise. There are a good amount of fish in each zone with variants for most of them, making it a nice grind (personally, I enjoy a grind in a game though) There are MANY dishes to unlock for the sushi bar, which also need leveling up themselves, so again, much to grind! Its been open nearly constantly on my PC for the past few weeks. I highly recommend it! ^w^
So cute and fun to waste time with at work every now and then. Gives me life in between data entry XD
The game is simple, yet addicting in a way that I can't explain. Gives you a sense of achievement. a little reward for your patient after a session of study, work or simply anything you do while you let it do its things. However, remember to collect your fish before it piles up too much and cause some minor lags ;p.
10/10: So far, this is the best idle game I’ve played. It’s similar to Dave the Diver, but instead of spearfishing, you're fishing from a boat. What I love about this game is that it doesn’t just revolve around fishing. You also have an aquarium where you can keep fish to earn money, a hatchery to breed more fish, and a restaurant where you serve dishes made from the fish you’ve caught. Also, the achievements are engaging and feel natural not forced like in other games. =)
I fish. I serve sushi. I give fish to cats. My staff are all ducks. I accept gifts from benevolent creatures in the ocean. This is a perfect game, no notes.
Surprisingly good. As someone who loves idle games, but hates how they are either too active, or you have too little impact, Fish to Dish: Idle Sushi has the best of both worlds. You can actively influence it (even when not ingame, it counts keystrokes and clicks!) or let it run passively in the background. It's that perfect balance of "I want to keep doing things" vs "I will wake up tomorrow morning with progress thanks to the passive progression systems". The dev seems involved and active on the forums too, quickly fixing little issues or adding QoL features. As far as an idle game goes, Fish to Dish will get you far.
This game TOOK OVER MY LIFE. I lost my wife, my house, even my dog. All I did, all day everyday, was make fish into dishes. This game will ruin you, it is pure dopamine. Do not buy it.
