This is very early access and "fans only". I will recommend this experience only for those who want to support the dev. There is much potential here, does remind of Stormland. But there is much need for optimization. Using Index res 130% with on oc'ed RTX 3090 I can just barely run the game in 40 fps and 80 Hz, but motion smoothing is my friend. Index res 130% is rather blurry though, I'd say you'll really need an RTX 4090, 5080 or 5090 for the current build. I ended up using Ultra settings, but lowered shadows to medium, lowered antialiasing to low, reduced GI to high, and set post processing to high - remaining settings were set to ultra. The 120GB install size is no joke, and the download is 50GB. I also tried to good old Rift CV1, because the SDE can make blurry graphics look more sharp. But Rift CV1 with Meta OpenXR seemed more stuttery than Index with Steam OpenXR. Then again, the game is really not worth spending time on in its current state - but if you care to support a...
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/Ptmrrg2ZjXY Very close call, but I just can't recommend this game at this time. I see the potential. If the developer keeps working on this title, I could see it being very good in the future. However, as it stands now it's not something I can recommend and I think it needs a lot of work as well. I hope the developer can deliver though because this experience is right up my alley. So basically this game is a mix between a nature walking simulator and a jet packing exploration game with a locomotion similar to Stormland VR. You glide over water and you can jet pack across the map with different biomes. However, you start off with a very poor jetpack that you can slowly upgrade by finding these upgrade orbs that are strewn around the island. Some are easy to collect and others you'll have to sort of platform jetpack there. While this game is relaxing at times, it can also be ...
It looks great but i could only get 1 FPS with a 4090, hope it gets fixed up.
If you like 'walking simulator' games where you can enjoy the scenery and collect the occasional upgrade, this is that kind of game. It has great graphics and sound to match. A huge area to explore and many different weather conditions. Though I find it a bit empty from time to time, I still enjoy the game as a whole.
Can't even start the game with a 4070 ti, they need to sort it out, we'll be waiting
This game still needs a ton of work at the time of this review. Almost completely unplayable on a i9/RTX 4090 Super/Quest 3 rig on average settings. Having said this I'm keeping the game with the hope that supporting the developer can fix some of these issues so I can get a glimpse of what was advertised. UPDATE! The developer has made significant improvements and looks like is continuing to work on this project. I will continue to support the developer so I can see how far he can take this.
