Just from the first scene, it's obvious the translation is garbage. It's not total nonsense like the machine translation that existed for the original Japanese release, but it's not even really a translation. For example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3525434507 「父さん 何かあったのかな?」Is the original Japanese line. Which basically translates to, "Did something happen to dad?" They turned a single sentence into three, and no, the lines before and after don't add that context. There were no mentions of pirates, or a storm, or forgetting a meeting. It's just totally made up by whoever "translated" this game. This would be less of an issue for me if the original Japanese text was available in this version, but it's not. For whatever reason, the original Japanese release, Buccanyar, isn't available in most regions on Steam (even though it is on Steam), so a lot of us are stuck with this non-translation if we want the game on PC. I don't...

About This Game
Courageous Cats vs. Plundering Pirates in Ship-to-Ship Combat!
After serving as apprentice sailors, three seafaring sisters and their faithful cat crewmates reunite at the port where their father’s ship is docked. Help Kanna, Lilia and Alicia to navigate through dangerous waters, upgrade their ship’s armaments, recruit a crew of skilled catmates and discover their father’s biggest secret!

A little indie game dreaming of blue seas and blue sky. Its got heart and game feel that is nostalgic in its presentation and experience. The game is to customize your dream ship, add various guns you find, and piloted by your favorite cats or characters. Once customized you take it through arenas in the game's story campaign. The battles start simple and slow, this is because it has to. There is a lot of actions that you the player can do but you will be overwhelmed if the game forced tutorials on you. Changing guns mid battle depending on range and whether the targets are in the sea or air. Sending commands to heal crew so that you can continue firing because if the game speeds up as I feel that it will, you will be taking hits. Calling for engines to output more to speed up then calling for the ship to do a full 180 with a command just so you can keep attacking. This game has a vision and I haven't even unlocked "remote" vehicles. Definitely play with a controller but if you stick t...
