This is pretty EVERYTHING you could ever want as an Ao Oni fan in 2025. New locations, new puzzles, new Oni's and new items. Some of the content is rehashed from their Japan-only releases or older versions (Ex. Ao Oni 3/X/Online or versions 3.0/5.2/6.03), which is fine. It's only a bit, and makes this content available to a broader audience. It could still use some refining, as a lot of the room spawns make zero sense and there's a bit too many random chases later in the game. I had lots of fun in my own playthrough, and I wasn't so bothered by the reused content as I was in Ao Oni 2- which was basically just 100% recycled content. There's also some rough translations and typo's in a handful of text boxes, but this can be fixed. They don't ruin the game. Overall, it's an 8/10 entry. The smaller aforementioned issues above dock a couple points, but it's still a really good title. Give it a buy on sale!
