About This Game

Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.

Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.

Finding Paradise is the 2nd full episode of To the Moon's series. It follows the life of the doctors' new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.

*Like To the Moon, this is a standalone full game that does not require having played any previous games in the series.

<Play the first game before this one. This is not a request, it's an obligation.> You know, sometimes it is delightful to be wrong. You came with certain expectations, but in the process of experiencing something, your perception changes, for the better. It happened to me — I was expecting “Finding Paradise” to be the same as “To the Moon”, just a different story. But thankfully this game follows a golden standard of sequels — it expands on what was good in the first game, and trim what was bad. Well, the latter to some extent. If you played the previous game, the first chapter of “Finding Paradise” will fool you, because it is mostly a copy of the “To the Moon” ideas — once again we travel from present life to the past of a dying person, uncovering life and memories. Once again we are looking for clues, unlocking new stages and listening to dialogues. But this time the linear path of cause and effect is broken for the sake of more fragmented narration, mixi...

This is a sequel to To the Moon, which I encourage you to play first. It follows the same sort of story (our two protagonists, Eva and Neil, go into a person's mind to fulfill their last wish). Finding Paradise was a very personal and emotional experience for me, and having played the first three major titles in the series, it's by far my favorite. I'm making it a short review but still, it's one of my favorite RPGMaker games. Do not sleep on the rest of the series, namely the next major titles ("Impostor Factory", "Just a To the Moon Series Beach Episode", and the upcoming "The Last Hour of an Epic TO THE MOON RPG"), all that I've seen so far is really good.

Just like To The Moon, I'm bawling like a baby and thinking about the meaning of life. Damn what an experience. If you've watched the movie Up, you remember the opening scene. This is like that.

11 hours to beat, and more impactful than any game I have ever played. Maybe i'm a sentimental person, but this game is truly a work of art with a beautiful story. Well done to everyone who made this.

Another great entry in the series which is totally worth playing if you are looking for an emotional and a bit complex story. If you are new to this game series, make sure to play "To the moon"(+2 free minisodes) and "A bird story" first to understand what's going easier. As for this game in particular it kept its lovely pixel style, silly jokes and humor (in a very good way), easy and straightforward gameplay/story progressing and of course an amazing and touching story. Overall I really recommend this game. Despite it being short, it is worth your time and a few dollars lol

I played both To the Moon and Finding Paradise and I can recommend them, if you want to play a cozy point and click game. It doesn't have super much gameplay - it's more like following the protagonist's story, but I really loved the writing; funny and human and with the right amount of plot twists! Made me feel warm and grateful, in the end :)
