I didn’t expect to get hooked this quickly, but wow. The game just feels so good to play smooth, colorful and way too easy to lose track of time in. The art style is adorable and goofy in the best way and everything pops with bright, silly charm that makes you want to keep going for “just one more run.” Even with an injured finger (oops 🥲), I still couldn’t stop myself from playing more than I should have. That probably says everything about how fun it is. I legit had to force myself to put it down so I don’t make my finger worse and I already can’t wait to jump back in. It’s cozy chaos with personality and you can feel the love the devs put into it. If this is just early access, I’m so excited to see how wild it’s going to get. 💖 Definitely recommend grabbing it if you’re into survivor-style roguelites with charm. - Soraphina 🍄🟫

About the Game
Funguys Swarm is a survivor-style roguelite where you play as forest weirdos fighting the Fire King’s flaming minions. Level up, unlock new heroes, pets, skills—even mechas—and rescue creatures to grow your Forest Sanctuary for permanent upgrades. Perfect for both newcomers and seasoned survivors!
Choose from a cast of silly funguys, each with their quirky charm and unique abilities. Whether you like getting up close and personal or prefer to keep things tactical from afar, there’s a funguy for every playstyle.
Face off against never-ending waves of flaming minions, mutated veggies, and things that probably shouldn’t be on fire. The longer you last, the weirder—and wilder—it gets.
Grab upgrades mid-run and stack chaotic, over-the-top powers that turn your goofy forest friend into a full-blown nature-powered menace.
Every now and then, the swarm throws a tantrum and sends in a giant boss. They're huge, unpredictable, and almost always on fire. Oh yeah, did I mention that there's even a bigger baddie at the end of each arena?
Fret not, you have the forest backing you up in the Sanctuary, a place where you can upgrade your powers to be more ridiculous than it is right now... for the right price of course!
Initial early access release includes:
2 Biomes
2 Characters
50 Upgrades
3 weapons
and many more we lost count

Ok so I only bought this initially to get the cosmetics for coral island, but I will say this damn game is pretty addicting. I tried it out just to see if I would like it, and it has the grind and the want to unlock more. Can't wait to see if they add more to this, but you know keep working on Coral Island too devs... lol
It's simply really really good. Everything about the design is clever and fun to engage with. The way your character, your weapon and your skills interact during any given run is fun. Everything looks and feel great. The level of polish is particularly high everything looks and feel slick, the feedback in general is top notch every piece of UI reacts marvelously. The only tiny thing I'm not a fan of right now are pets and I guess it's more a personal preference than anything else. They are not very engaging they just do one ability regularly and that's it which is a bit odd because treelings also do the same thing but have more fun effects and don't add screen clutter or look a bit weird following you around (they are not on the map at all). The current content can be gone through fairly quickly but at that price it's a steal honestly. Congrats to the devteam you are making a gem of a game it's without a doubt the best survivor game I have played (and I played a lot of them) and th...
Initially bought the game for the Coral Island Collaboration, and decided to give it a try. Didn't expect to get hooked and use it to chill or release stress after work. I love the cute graphics so far and how easy to understand the "Skill cards" and "Passive cards" are explained, so it's kind of fun to mix and match the combo and see how it works well together. Looking forward to more updates and I am excited to see the next maps/locations. Hope there'd be an update soon.
Bought it for Coral Island in-game items. BUT!!!! I actually find myself loving this game, It's quick and fun. I usually don't gravitate to these games but I'd honestly say, I don't regret a single thing. Story? Simple, but cute. Gameplay? Challenging but not frustrating. Honestly a 9.5/10
Finally another roguelike game and its really fun! leafblade is the way to go guys. trustme.
It’s a pretty fun Vampire Survivors-like with some nice new features but the current content is still very sparse, since this is very Early Access. What is currently there is pretty polished and there’s a lot of potential for the game. Overall, I would recommend getting it for a casual fun time. + I like the addition of Encounters. It gives different things to do and keeps you moving to different locations instead of settling with a stationary build. There’s currently only three versions in the game right now but they’re pretty fun to do especially when they align with swarms. + There’s only two maps so far but I like the ‘stage hazard’ added with the second map. Movement is slippery due to the ice on the second map and it adds a nice level of difficulty and uniqueness to it. + I like the fire twink constantly taunting you. = I like the art style. It’s very similar to Coral Island, which seems to be the devs’ style. It does make it a bit difficult to gauge...
First time playing a game in this genre and I have to say, I didn't think I would love it like this. The visual is very nice, sounds/music is good and satisfying. Characters are cute. Initially I only bought this for the pet that you can get for Coral Island, but I got hooked on this quick. I will for sure continue to play.
Recommended, but not if you really want to dive deep into a game. Played the demo for this a while, the current content is certainly a step up from that but is still quite limited. Only 2 maps, lots of 'coming soon' all over the place. Expect no more than a few hours of gameplay at time of writing.
Extremely Addictive! You'll always have that "just one more run" feeling after each run. Visuals are great, skill effects are crazy and out of the box. For an early access, the game is extremely polished. Price is 5 bucks currently and totally worth every penny especially if the devs are going to keep on adding contents to the game. Bravo!
