Paws and Claws: Pet School

Let's talk about this game. This was one of my absolute FAVORITE games as a child. Seriously, I wish I knew how many hours I played of this when I was young (or maybe I don't, it might be pretty embarrassing). When I saw it was available here for a pretty low price, I wanted to give it a try for nostalgia's sake. Now, I have a computer that is capable of running VR games, a few years ago it was one of the most advanced gaming computers available. I saw that some of the reviews said that it wasn't working or was glitchy on their computers. One review mentioned the character would run back and forth in place for several seconds before actually following the mouse (I laughed because I remember that happening a lot when I played this as a kid). It ran perfectly. The running glitch didn't even happen. It ran perfectly. I actually had fun playing it too, which isn't something I can say today about every game I loved as a child. So I'd say it's certainly worth looking at for nostalgic reaso...

Just as I remember from my childhood. (Make sure you turn off the Steam overlay though. It WILL glitch the game out if you don't.)

This was one of my favorite computer games as a child. I spent hours and hours on it. I can only imagine that hopefully when I was a child the game ran more smoothly and isn't the laggy mess that is this version of the game. It is so laggy that it is unplayable. A simple click of the mouse can have the character running back and forth between two spots for 10 seconds at a time. This happens constantly, every other time you click. If gaemplay was updated to run more smoothly I'd imagine this would still be a fun time, but this is just a disaster. Save your money, do not buy.

It's a kids game and I do admittedly have nostalgia bias, but even at 25 I enjoy this game from time to time. If you like tycoon-ish type games and pets, it's worth a try.

this game is my childhood. Its methodical and has a simplistic gameplay loop but its super fun and a good way to kill time. I dont know if people would like it unless they grew up with it though. the nostalgia is real

Okay, I played this game a [i]lot[/i] growing up, like most other reviewers. It's definitely not super thrilling, but it's kinda nice to just turn on some music and kill an hour or two when I don't know what else to play. Pure nostalgia fodder, and I regret nothing about buying this game again. I was just happy to see that steam had it and it didn't fade into the void.

This game is so much fun, so much nostalgia. There are a few bugs but nothing that stops me from playing. :3

Love this game! However, I accepted a pet order, and have it in it's pen so its taking up a spot, but it isn't in the list of clients. No matter how much I train it, it isn't being picked up. How do I get rid of this glitch?
