I got sick, not uncommon for me. Pneumonia this, lung infection that. I've been sad and unable to play any games, then this one popped up. I grabbed it because there was a cat, wearing a hat, and she was fishing. In a short while of me playing, she took a break from fishing and started to drink warm tea or coffee. So, I sort of thought I could do the same. So now I am drinking tea, Fischer has gone back to fishing, and her new goose friend Bess is asking for a Carp. The music is playing, and it's calming and soft. I might still feel unwell, but I still feel better, too. I recommend this game for anyone who needs just a little calm, but also uplifting of your mood. Watching Fischer the cat with her fur puffing up as she pulls up a fish is wonderful. All the while, the graphics are charming and the music is great, and I can hear moving water that sounds just like the brook not far from my parents house. Of all the relaxing desktop companion idle games coming out lately, this is my favorite one. The art is beautiful and I love the way it's animated. I really enjoy that this game has two different forms of passive income in the fishing, and the fish tank, making every big catch feel even better. The wallpaper mode is amazing and my preferred way to experience this, and I hope more games in the genre take inspiration from that. Also I love cat

I freaking love fishing so gosh darn much holy moly when I die I want to spend my eternal afterline casting a line into a boundless ocean of infinite piscine creatures endlessly chasing an elusive shining demigod of the waters with ever upgraded tools of the trade.

I'm 200+ hours in and I just finally decided on what hat to wear. This game is absolutely fantastic. It scratches every single itch in terms of collect'em'all, upgrades and incremental, cute, and peaceful. There is a wallpaper mode so you can Fischer fishing right there as your background while you do other stuff, and background pet mode is just as awesome! The locations and the progress feel perfectly balanced, and the artwork is stunning. It's a true idle game. You check your bag, you buy some bait, but Fischer does all the hard work and all you need to do is brew the tea, design your fish tanks, and relax. I wish I could get everyone a copy of this game. It's the best. The developer is absolutely hands-on, fixes any issues ASAP, and the community isn't even toxic (yet). Wow. What an absolute winner. Get it. GET IT NOW. One of the most relaxing idle games I’ve ever played. I already played it during the demo and it instantly became one of my favorites. Cute animations, calming music, and flexible modes (fullscreen, tab, or even as a wallpaper). Perfect to keep running in the background and check in from time to time. No rush, no unnecessary grind just peacefully catching fish while getting work done on the side. I recommend this to anyone looking for something calm and charming :).

This game is adorable and perfect for anyone who sits at a desk, working or multi-slacking. Total gem and strongly recommend to anyone who wants to chill and collect things :)

Really cute and on point! Worth the money. I played a lot of different idle fishing games over the last couple of months. Fishing the Abyss, Desktop Fishing, Idle Waters and Corner Pond. When it comes to the pure mechanics, the fishing, the mini-occupations alongside it, nothing really beats Idle Waters for me. But the big selling point for me here are the visuals, the cozyness of the cat. I dig the artstyle, the tunes, the ambience sounds. The environments are inspired and fun, the mechanics are still solid - and the desktop-mode is just gold. No other game has it. Only downside for me really is the creepy, awkward bunny o.o It's just weirdly artificially disturbing, beyond a cute level for me. It overshadows all the cozyness of the game, making it look like the cat made a pact with a demon and is now forced to fish for the creepy Demon-bunny-plushy or get devoured, if it doesnt obey.

I'm the type to forget to take breaks when I'm working on a project on the pc, but getting this game changed that. I'll work on my projects and can still focus, then occasionally I'll look over to the side of my screen and can quickly scan over if fishing cat has too many fish and if I need to add them to the fish tank or sell them. This also gives me time to drink water, eat food, and get up to walk around. There's no rush or urgency to finish a npc's request. They'll wait for you. Too many fish, no worries, kitty is probably taking a break and drinking hot chocolate. He'll wait for you to clear out his fishing basket. Pros: -The music and sounds are relaxing even when I have a deadline. (Music and water sounds are separate volumes, so if you do get sick of either you can turn them down separately.) -The animations aren't distracting. Cute, cozy, sits on my computer and fishes. The game is what it says it is, and it's adorable. Very relaxing to have running on a second monitor as you do other things.
