Ambiguous Amphibian played it on his youtube channel, so I gave it a shot. Super simple, but fun.

It's got some interesting ideas, but if you're a fan of incremental games as I am, you should think twice before buying it, as it's very likely to disappoint you. It's very chaotic and doesn't provide the feeling of progression and achievement I expect from incremental games. Due to its nature that requires a long playtime I can't refund it - I would if I could.

Similar playstyle as Gnorp Apologue and Tower Wizard if you liked those. pretty quick incremental with a bit of building & resource management. I played the 'extended' game mode and it still was only about 4 hours long.

looks neat, is fun and works fine but its very finite. this is just absolutely not what I expected from an incremental game.

very cool game you get to fill a hole trash element enjoyers rejoice story is pretty bad, i've listened to children tell better stories there are multiple endings, but it just boils down to is "thing" researched? would be nice if there were multiple endings that require different challenges completed or playstyles not much reason to fire it up after getting all achievements, unless some update changes this

6/10. "An interesting take on the incremental genre. It’s a very short game with almost no story, but it can entertain for a few hours. The mechanics and especially the skill tree took a bit of time to figure out, but once I did, it was a smooth ride."

For the duration of it's short runtime I never actually really had fun. It was a slog from start to finish. Most games of this genre tend to have elements of tediousness, but you upgrade something and things speed up and gives you some excitement. Then things slow down again and you need to upgrade (and frequently you need to start over via a prestige), to speed things up again. Fill up the Hole just never has that. Yeah sure you upgrade things, but it never feels like it makes a dent on this loop. Upgrade materials are really slow to get, and most of the upgrades feel borderline worthless.
