The more levels you go through, the more enemies you face. A fun and enjoyable concept this game has a few quirks that really prevent it from being a great game. In my mind, extreme exorcism is very much a local multiplayer game. I recommend this for people who are interested in this element of the game but would not recommend it solely for the single player mode. Extreme exorcism offers an excellent concept, in each round of combat ghosts enter the arena and repeat the actions of players from previous rounds. This can make for chaos very quickly. Players pick up weapons that spawn on the map, and can equip multiple weapons which all fire simultaneously, adding further to the chaos of the map. The nature of the game offers a tactical dilemma, do you spam your attacks to maximise the effect of a ghost and risk being hit by a stray bullet you didn’t notice, or do you focus on the map and go in for a precision kill, leaving a less useful ghost? The games biggest flaw is that only the winner of a round has their ghost form that round spawn, this mechanic gives further advantage to a winning player and in my mind is an unfortunate snowballing ...

Nifty and underrated little game that takes a creative approach to the everlasting dilemma of how to get AI enemies to move naturally. Basically in single-player, each time you kill an enemy they respawn and mimic your exact movements from the previous round. Enemies repeatedly respawn like this until there are a frantic rush of them all over the screen and you eventually run out of health. Arcade Mode, Survival Mode, and local PvP increase the longevity and value of Extreme Exorcism. Def recommended, especially on sale.

Check out my impression in REAL TIME HD 1080p TECHNICOLORS[/url][/u] Pros: _Looks nice: Very vibrant pixel arts, fits the tone of the game, pleasant to look at. _Great music: Appropriately Halloween, nothing too catchy, but pretty kickass. _Controls well: Nice and tight, Double jumping feels great, weapons could use a bit more oomph, but overall pretty good. _Interesting mechanics: You can hold and use 3 weapons at the same time! That's pretty rad. The ghosts are also interesting. They mimic your actions from the previous rounds, making them really unpredictable and eratic. The chaos they create are insane. _Lots to unlock: Stages, weapons and more unlock at a breakneck pace, keeping you playing just one more round. _Local multiplayer: Ramps up the chaos, ramps up the friendship. Cons: _Sort of one note: You just kill ghosts and nothing else. The ghost all look the same, and do the same thing ...

Way much better than expected thanks to a great concept and smooth controls. Definitely worth a try when on sale.

Way to repetitive. For me this game got really old really fast.
