Cult of the Lamb with no soul.
Stylistically, I wasn't really into the cutesy-edgelord style in Cult of the Lamb, but it was at least sincere and consistent. Dinotica is nearly identical in gameplay, but with a soulless prehistoric skin and a bunch of safe "Social Credit" humor. The one positive thing that I can say about the game is that the breeding mechanic has a lot of potential, but everything else I experienced is just "Diet Cult of the Lamb". I'd recommend keeping an eye on the game until it hits 1.0, I have a feeling that the review-scores aren't going to hold up over the course of Early Access. For now, I recommend Cult of the Lamb head-and-shoulders above this game.

I’ve been following this game since its demo, and it’s a very interesting action roguelike that also incorporates simulation management and sandbox building elements. The art style is super cute. Although it’s still in the Early Access stage, there’s a wide variety of dinos to collect, much like Pokémon.

Amazing game that plays a lot like Cult of the Lamb. I found that I was able to get into this easier though.

Even tho it's in EA, looks pretty polished already. Got breeding, roguelike, building, critter collecting- all the good stuff. The levels are always fresh 'cause of the RNG, so never boring,8.5/10 defo worth a shot!

A really cool simulation game that mixes roguelike combat with survival and building. It takes the best parts of other great games and adds some cool new stuff. The core gameplay revolves around raising dinosaurs. Dinosaur eggs can be obtained in levels, and three dinosaurs of the same species can be combined to level up. Dinosaurs have distinct personalities and qualities. Excellent ones can be kept for breeding to produce even better offspring. Those suited for work stay at home, while those skilled in combat are taken to dungeons. Whatever the task, it's all handled by the dinosaurs~

The combat feels a bit like The Binding of Isaac, with mouse-controlled shooting direction. What stands out is that your attack style depends on your mount—some breathe fire, others shoot stone balls. You can equip special effects you pick up onto your mount, which changes what it shoots, like splitting into three or adding electric shocks. The coolest part? You can swap effects on the fly, so if something’s not working mid-fight, you can instantly switch it up.

A great management game. Dinosaurs are also very cute. Raising dinosaurs is very healing.
