"You are an ordinary man who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Your plane crashes off the coast of a sinister island, hidden from civilization by a shroud of fog and rumor." This was not the game I played. I did not locate any mysteries, fog, plane crashes, OR men except for the traders. Issues: Every movement causes the female character's skirt to fly into the air and reveal her undergarments. Textures from the road covered the character like a dirt road skin. I could not find any plant fiber so I had to buy it from a trader. Eternal night is longer than daylight and the enemy AI (enemy and bucks) seem to have their behaviors reversed. I shot an enemy and it ran around confused.. I shot a buck and it charged at me and killed me. The price is fine in it's current state. Hopefully the game will see some patches and updates. I feel bamboozled by the description so I have refunded, but to be fair the gameplay video here on the store page is exactly what you get.

About This Game
You are an ordinary man who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Your plane crashes off the coast of a sinister island, hidden from civilization by a shroud of fog and rumor. You find yourself the only survivor, surrounded by wreckage and silence, broken only by the cries of seagulls and the sound of the surf. But you soon realize that you are not alone on the island.
This is a survival simulator with elements of horror and detective investigation.
Fight for life: get food and water, create weapons and tools, build a shelter and defend yourself from dangers.
Solve the mystery of the island: search for notes, documents and clues that will help you understand what happened on the island and why its inhabitants turned into ruthless monsters.
Confront your fears: the atmosphere of horror and the unknown will haunt you at every turn. Listen to every rustle, be ready to face what lurks in the shadows.
Detailed open world: explore a variety of locations, from picturesque beaches to gloomy mines and an abandoned military base.
Realistic Crafting: Create weapons, tools, clothing, and medicines from everyday materials.
Dynamic day and night changes: adapt to the island environment, where danger lurks around every corner.

Don't buy this game even if the price is so low. It's very buggy, both your cpu and gpu are gonna run at absurd temperatures, can't disable motion blur. You have to setup your control keys every time you enter THE GAME, not the GAME MENU bcz they won't save. Forgot to mention, most of the reviews are fake. The dev paid or gave the game for free to a lot of people for that damned positive review.
Definitely needs work to be playable. There's no instructions yet, no character selection or customization, and I couldn't find settings to slow down my camera speed or change the lighting at night, which was particularly frustrating. Being thirsty and having empty vessels in my inventory while standing in water, but not being able to fill them or drink from the water source was also frustrating. It's a normal bare-bones early access game. Oh, and when I pressed ESC and nothing happened, well, that shows how new this game is. I look forward to seeing what STuNT does with it. If you're expecting more than this, please wait to buy. Every game in early access is different.
Do not get this game. It's not working as advertised. An is bug ridden. Getting refund after 20 minutes.
Food & drink consumption is going to fast... Besides that it's an OKay single player 'survival' EA game.. Building aspect is well done to ! Looking forward tu further development :-)
Needs more work. Nights are annoying, they come to fast en are longer then the days. You go from bright spots to pitch black for no apparent reason. This goes for both inside and outside buildings. Consumable items spoil fast, not just one at the time but the whole stack at once. Food and water meters are down to fast, no time for anything but to get food all the time. Mouse sensetivety needs work, either not moving or way to fast. Somehow I have the feeling I have played this game before. But hey, for this price you can just hop on for a while and explore.
For the price you pay i can reccomend if you dont mind the state that the game is in it's not finished hence Early access but don't go in expecting alot npc's i have only seen one from the shop, and a zombie type person and a monstor shown in the trailer its a good base for what it is i will look forward to seing what happens with the game there is a base builder so you can build a base it's also in deph in terms of building fires and cooking food you'll need the resources to start the fires and such certain types of wood for the base building ect, all over a good solid game to get lost in for a hour or soo.
I bought this game because it was on sale and it peaked my interest. I have to admit that I really don't like this game. There's no way to turn motion blur off, the higher your graphic settings, the higher the motion blur. Dropping it to low graphics makes it look like late PS1 to early PS2 graphics. The audio is quite annoying, sounds like you're running on wooden planks even outside on the dirt. Crouching doesn't lower the footstep volume either. Character noises could be improved a bit as well. When you spawn in, your only option for a character is a female. Not saying that's bad in any way, but I know that there are some people who prefer to play as a male character, so hopefully in the future there will be a feature to decide who you want to be. Food and Water drain pretty quickly and gaining money seems to be quite slow. When you visit the dude to buy items, It doesn't tell you how much money/gold you need to purchase said item. Accuracy with the starting gun is really bad as wel...
The game is definitely under-cooked. Looted a car. Went from broad daylight to pitch black while in the inventory menu. Cooked meat turned to spolied meat within 30 seconds. Drowned twice. The first time because I couldn't figure out how to keep my head above water. The second time because I couldn't exit the water and I gave up trying. The vendor was a voiceless immobile man who stood so still he might as well have been a statue. If the game were 100% free, I would have been agitated at the time I wasted on the install. However, it's not free. If I were the DEV, I would be ashamed that I put a price tag on the game at all. Early access should not mean unplayable. I wouldn't be surprised if the game gets abandoned, if it hasn't been already. I'm disappointed that this game is offered alongside legitimate entries on steam. From now on, I will hesitate before buying another indie game from an unknown developer. I understand 'why' a developer would like to recoup a little cash for...
Game runs like trash, low settings on a high end PC, 17 or less FPS on low. No sort of control set up and physics are atrocious~ Do not get this even on sale I do not see how this has so many positive reviews unless they're botted
