MySims™ Kingdom

MySims Kingdom is one of the more perplexing Steam reviews I've written. Do I review this game based on its evolution from is predecessor, MySims? Do I discuss the ways it adds to, & takes away from, the way you can explore your creativity compared to the previous title? How much do I let my personal nostalgia/current enjoyment influence this review? If I were to sum it up in 1 basic mantra, MySims Kingdom is the videogame equivalent of fast food takeout - It's a nice treat once in a while, games like these are really enjoyable guilty pleasures, but you don't have to look hard to find another title that could be just genuinely better, be it as a creative outlet, casual experience, story, etc. You as the newly-appointed Wandolier are set out into the world alongside your 2 friends, Buddy & Lyndsay, to help out all the people of the world. Just like when I played when I was a kid <3 Being able to play through the whole thing on my computer was wonderful. One thing is that the Shywayze song was removed. It was always the one that stood out from the other stereo songs because it was so different in tone, so I understand removing it, but I'm kinda sad it's gone. At this point when I'm on candypalooza, I'm kinda expecting the tone shift lol. I love the new features added. Thank you for making this.

I loved playing this game on the Wii. I was so happy when I found it on steam

For anyone else who remembers this from their childhood, honestly, the price on Steam is worth it for the nostalgia alone—OMG, I’m having an absolute blast diving back into MySims Kingdom. I played this as a kid, and now here I am in my 20s, usually playing bloody war and strategy games, but this still hits just as hard.

I love this game so much!!! I'm so happy that I can replay it on my laptop and still have the same joy and love as I did for it when growing up lol
