This feels like Early Access, but there's enough promise and a reasonable game price that warrants recommending. The lack of passenger logic is REALLY frustrating - a northbound passenger will take a southbound train, clogging up the train capacity and extending their travel time vs just waiting for the train to come back northbound I'd really like to see some further development - like please allow me to do upgrades to vehicles from a menu vs clicking through so many boxes. Larger buttons to open up a route view, vehicles view, filter buttons embedded in the top so I can quickly narrow down to the route I'm focused on. The UI really limits how large you can expand before it gets way too overwhelming

I love the idea. But the game does not provide the appropriate feedback for what you are trying to do. When making a new line I wish it would high light connections and demand. Instead you have to go through multiple menu screens to obtain and then memorize that information. And you might say oh, but thats fine, I can do that, not when thats the whole game loop, the entire point of optimizing said routes. It becomes a repetitive chore to understand why your routes are doing as well or as poorly as they are, and again when the whole point of the game is to expand and then to optimize it really fails on providing you with easy access to the optimization information. Great idea, not so great execution. I had fun for an hour, but information dispersion proved more frustrating then fun when anything of scale began to happen. I do recommend you try it, but i dont think i can recommend you keeping it.
OK. I have watched just about every video on YouTube, over the last week or two. I feel that I have an excellent handle on the games' systems, and mechanics. First, it runs perfectly on my computer..an I-7, with a very good (3070) graphics card, and 32 gb ram. No stutters. Also, note that I have it installed on my SSD, to help with late game issues as the file sizes get immense. I am in the first sandbox scenario, where I need to unlock a new country every 30 minutes or so. The game gave me the Netherlands, so Luxembourg and Denmark are cheap, and within easy reach. Expansions cost more, the larger the country. I have played about three months, and have two trains, four airplanes, and about 15 busses. Total number of cities is about a dozen or so. The game does a good job of managing your routes, and your cities. It tells you when they're overloaded, and when you need to take actions. At the slowest speed, the game is quite manageable. Next, importantly, is that you can pause the...
Started with one rusty bus, ended up running an empire that makes the UN look like a hobby club. 🌍✈️🚆 Passengers happy, rivals bankrupt, geography lessons accidentally learned. Peak transport tycoon vibes. "A bit rushed out the door". Transport and logistics games, on the surface, seem fairly straightforward and simple. Bring x from point A to point B, repeat. Fans of the genre know, however, know a lot more is going on under the hood. Worldwide Rush offers a great example of that hidden complexity - a fairly approachable game with more going on that initially presents. Upon starting up, you'll be asked to localize your settings: measurements, currency, and language. The developers clearly want to on-board as many players as possible. Continuing on, you'll see a very basic, easy to understand start menu, all in a good effort to get you into the action as quickly as possible. Starting a new game will offer a number of world options varying up your company profile, competition, unlockables, and more - all of which do a good job telegraphing their effects on the game. A quick load screen later, and you're presented with the world map. A basic tutorial will guide you through setting up y...
Hey dev, I was really looking forward to this game, and I love the concept. But in a way, I'm disappointed—it's like the game just falls apart after only an hour of playing. There's no balance. You're developing your company, everything is slow but steady, and you're kinda having fun, but then at some point, some random company just buys yours out. No warning, no consent—what's up with that? And just like that, the game abruptly ends for you.
seemed really nice before releasing, but its really repetetive and boring after some playing (for me), there are some things that make the game not so comfortable as it could be (bugs in settings, etc.) im refunding it for now, maybe i will buy it later :)
A definite improvement on casual transport games of the last few years. Very engaging, but by mid to late game it slows to a crawl. Becomes unplayable long before winning or losing on my i5 rtx 3060 pc with 32 gb of ram. Without some optimisations to the calculations, you need to be able to play a smaller location like a continent or hemisphere. The only options is to play the globe, but it invariably drags as transport covers such a wide area. Perhaps if the AI moved away from smaller transport at an earlier stage it could help. I will keep an eye on it for improvements, but as it stands today, you cant finish a game.
Even though it's decent, it feels kind off blunt and i don't really getting excited when i expand you do not really feel the growth but you very easily do grow. I can't even describe it yet.
At first I liked it very much, even though the place I live in having only one city. The game was very promising but it did not take long for me to see it is quite raw. It feels like the economy was not thought about and the money is just a random number tossed into or out of your bank account. The same happens in the passenger demand system, there is no logic having passengers wishing to travel to only 3 options of cities and one of these options (which often is a major city) has only 3 passengers wanting to travel there. It is extremely arcade and I feel I was sold the opposite idea. At first, I felt like there were plenty of customisations and I could make the game more similar to reality, but it is not like that. Settings and sandbox are shallow. If the arcade style does not bother you, try it out, it will be fun. But if you, like me, is after something more realistic, try the demo and don't rush buying the full game.
