Twelve out of the thirteen positive reviews are from Sock Puppet accounts with no other Steam games on them, which is pretty lame. I don't know why Steam allows such easy manipulation of its review system. (Edit: They're leaving harassing comments on my profile now, identifying themselves as friends of the developer. This is the definition of sockpuppetting, lol.) Sidewalk Simulator is a lofi tower defense game with a zany meme coat of paint. It has a very minimal pixel/MSPaint vomit-type aesthetic. The UI is among the worst I've ever encountered in a video game. Inaccessible choices like bright pink text on light gray or cyan on dark blue. Icons look nearly identical. Systems aren't explained at all. What is the greediness system? What's a necromancy? Items and upgrades have vague/zany explanations. I think there's a fun experience here (especially for two people) I found myself having fun once I built some turrets and some walls, but it needs to find a balance between proper t...

I owe Sidewalk Simulator my life, it is so addicting and so much fun. I haven't played a game like this in years. Makes me feel like like I am back when life was good. 10/10 game. Play it. Love it. Live it.

Really changed my perspective on sidewalks as a whole
This game hits all the right notes in all the right places. Perfectly balanced gameplay, nostalgic visuals, and a legendary soundtrack. One of the most addicting games I've played in a long time. 10/10.
well it's definitely much cheaper than actually doing shrooms
Sidewalk Sim is a feverish, pixelated nightmare that somehow works. The mechanics? Utter chaos, a blur of strategy and madness where you’re defending against fat bums and screaming terrorists. You think you’re in control, but then—BOOM!—a fascist dog appears. The soundtrack? Sexy? No. It's like being trapped in a trance, your brain pulsing with bass until your thoughts melt. And then there's Hearp—the lunatic host whose rambling rants make no sense but somehow make you MORE focused. He’s like a deranged psychic telling you to keep going, even as you question your grip on reality. Enemies? Hundreds of them, all insane, all terrifying. One wave you’re laughing, the next, you’re panicking. Co-op mode? DOUBLE the insanity. It’s brutal. It’s stylish. It’s a disaster. But you’ll be hooked, and you’ll never know why.
This game isn't something you merely play, it is something you feeeel. It's an audio/visual journey that pulls you out of this earth and into a new one, challenging your perceptions and forcing you to look at the simplest concepts in entirely new ways. The way the visuals and sound interact produce unmatched neural stimulation. It doesn’t overwhelm you with mechanics or unnecessary fluff. Instead, it strips reality down to its core, letting every detail serve a purpose. It’s a challenge, in a way that may test patience at times, but it makes you think, makes you adapt, and, in some moments, even makes you reflect. t’s rare to find a game that feels this intentional. Every piece fits into a larger puzzle, and by the end, you’re left with more than just the satisfaction of beating it -- you’re left with a sense of understanding, like you’ve experienced something bigger than yourself. If you’re looking for a game that pushes boundaries and speaks to you on a deeper level, th...
Really fun game with an absolutely killer soundtrack. This is a great way to kill some time and although it can get difficult I find myself wanting to come back. 100% worth the price
At first I was just a wet boy that didn't know a sidewalk from the street. Papa taught me and I finally started to dry out and become the best boy papa knew I was meant to be. 11/10, great sound track, controls, and vibes.
