This game consists of about 90% watching cute, amusing cutscenes and 10% running around following on-screen markers to get to the next cutscene. It's mostly moé slice-of-life anime fluff, and I'm fine with that. Slow paced, too, and I'm also fine with that. If that doesn't sound good to you, don't buy this game! You'll hate it! Definitely feels like a PS1 or Sega Saturn era Japanese game to me, the kind of stuff Japanese people call an "adventure" game, which would never come out in English because it was mostly non-gameplay storytelling. Low poly chibi models, and a lighthearted feeling. If you are looking out for fanservice... I would say - don't look for it in this game. There are scenes with girls in hot springs together (they are just shown as heads bobbing in water), and non-consensual boob groping between girls (the protagonist ~ Kaede ~ is obsessed with Sanae's breasts, even while Kaede has this mad crush on someone else), but due to the graphical style and li...

The best word to describe this game is "boring". Miko Gakkou Monogatari is nothing but several girls that look cute and talk, that is it. No comedy, no adventure, just...boring dialogue. I could have more fun watching paint dry. Controls are clunky, the camera angles are terrible, poor user interface, and there's no fun or challenge playing it. If you are looking for a cute anime game to engage with, look somewhere else.
Sweet love story of a game.
An underrated classic that everyone should try! 10/10 <3 I found out recently that there was another game made by xinoro, originally released only in japan in 2012, titled: Miko School Story ~ Sanae Edition. Hopefully if enough support goes to the developers, there could be a possibility of seeing this translated and put onto Steam! I mean it when I say I really enjoyed this game! Hopefully in the future there'll be more games with many adventures and experiences with these characters! :D
-Story (based from the true end) you are a dummy shrine maiden, you found a glasses that have owned by someone then the "someone" person are looking for the glasses, then the person saw you that you were wearing the glasses, so the person have an idea to acting as a "boy" then you met the "boy" the boy tried to take the glasses back, so "he" is trying to get closer to you you fell in love your friends are telling you that literally he's not a "boy" you still don't trust them now she's broken somehow you have promised that you will having a date with "him" going to school together when you sit together with "him" he sneaky beaky took your glasses off and he transformed into a .............. i dunno i forgot lol when "he" 's showed up "his" true identity you ran out then you are trying to forget "him" several days after you already forgot about him the boy give you a present *credits comes up* -Gameplay: >you just walking arround all over the place to starts the dialogue (with the slow ...
Miko Gakkou Monogatari is a cute interactive anime. It`s not a game at all, the most of the time you just see cutscenes with full japanese voice over (really good ones also) and english subtitle. Its the kind of slice of life anime with some light humor in it. The rest of the time you walk to "I" interaction points to talk with a character to start the next cutscenes, depends on this you also able to get different endings, so depends on with who you interacte it will playout a bit different. The grafics are like PS1 area not bad just kept simple. Sound/Music/Voiceacting are really good made Only problem I have with the "game" is that it somethime rondomly crashes, but no idea why. But no big deal because of the autosave. Also it would be nice if you could probaly pause the cutscenes because even if you go into the "return to menu" screen the cutscene will still countinue. If you look for a game, then you wrong here. If you look for some anime with some lighthearted fun then this c...
