I can't believe what I'm seeing. I just happened to look up a video of Dead Ball Zone for nostalgia, only to see a comment talking about this Steam release. This was a game during the PS1 era that was pretty much unknown to almost everyone. It's been almost 30 years since it's release and I've still yet to meet someone that has ever even heard of it. So what happened? Did it suck? No way! It was awesome. A super fun spin on a combination of a few sports with some pretty extreme violence for the time. The graphics show it's age, but back in the PS1 days, it was peak graphics and your imagination filled in the gaps. The controls are relatively simple. Directional, Pass, Shoot, Sprint, and 2 Special commands. Pretty much it. You'll likely lose a couple matches in the beginning as you gain your sense of how the game is played, but once you get it down, it's super fun. For $6.00, it's definitely worth checking out this fairly unknown relic of the past. I was only 11-12 when it came out, so...

Good old game
Originally released in 1998, I never played it on the PS1. it's like a combination of handball/ basketball/football. Simply just good arcade fun, hilarious as well, you can literally KILL your opponents as there are guns, chainsaws, wrestling moves. There is a tournament mode where you train and build up your team, It's fun. I would like to see it working on the steam deck. as it already has the resolution option however, I understand it's an older game.
A favourite from childhood, have been checking Steam for years to see if it turns up, and it finally has. Game works fine with controller, takes seconds to set in with in game settings.
