If your looking for a game that is an easy play through game this is the game for you. It honestly only takes about 3-4 hours to complete the entire game. Also if your an achievement hunter this game was pretty easy to get all of the achievements. I will say the only achievement that you could miss is the Hide and Seek achievement which if you look up a video it will show how to do it but this achievement in particular you can miss which I had to replay some of the story again to get that done. The flying aspect of the game I thought was really cool as well as the scenery was amazing while you were flying. So if your looking for an easy laid back type of game that is easy to get all of the achievements in little time with good scenery a good story this is the game for you.

AER presents itself as a large open world that is just about as empty as it comes, unfortunately. It's a visually pretty game lacking any substance. While being able to fly anywhere feels freeing and the game seems to have a lot on the surface, the presentation only goes so far when you land on any floating island and there's just... nothing. At most you can find bits of lore scattered about, but the main world actually has very little going on. I think my main problem lies within how the game utilizes certain cultural aspects for world building. As stated in an interview inspiration was taken from Native American legends (among other things), and while claiming to be respectful it is such a broad statement that does not give any specifics. Ultimately in the gameplay itself this just comes across as cherry picking any mythology that seems aesthetically pleasing enough to add to the games lore and mechanics. However well-intended the developers may have been, AER quickly came across t...
I first played this game on my Nintendo Switch a few years ago, and I think this is now my fifth or sixth playthrough. This game is amazing. Apart from the beautiful graphics and touching story, it has, in my opinion, the best flying mechanic of any game out there. I’ve never played another game where it felt so good to just fly around. I have so many memories of listening to audiobooks while flying and puzzling—It’s truly a part of my childhood. Thank you.
Absolute vibe, 10/10
6.5/10.
Chill game, i think its pretty good for 1-2 evenings of gaming
Very simple story but damn it feels good to soar through the skies in this game. You're not getting a lot of gametime of this though
good. flying is chill, jumping and turning while running around can be a bit clunky. did get confused at some points what and where exactly should i do. bit on the boring side, but dont care, coz i got it on sale. 1 playthough is enough. not much to do or experience after finishing once.
