Pathogen: Code Omega

This was by far one of the worst games I have played, terribly optimised, lacks any content other than go to nest burn kill and repeat. Most buttons don't even work, like grabbing loot. Honestly maybe a highschool project at best.

The mix of defending your base and going out to destroy the nests creates an exciting back-and-forth. And when you finally activate the SOS beacon and face the waves in overwhelming numbers, testing every trap, defense, and weapon you’ve prepared.

This game is a lot of fun! Simple mechanics but really satisfying to take down nests and fend off hordes. The rescue timer adds a nice sense of urgency. Definitely worth playing if you like survival challenges.

Really enjoyed this one! The mix of crafting, base building, and fighting off zombies is super addictive.

I’ve been playing for a bit now, and I’m enjoying it more than I expected. Graphically, the game looks decent. It’s not the most impressive, but it does a good job of creating an unsettling atmosphere. The environments feel dirty and run-down, which fits perfectly with the apocalyptic vibe. Essentially, the Burning Nest mechanic revolves around dealing with these infected areas and collect the samples.

You’re dropped on an island overrun by zombies and have to destroy these infected nests while staying alive. The crafting system is a big part of the game you can make weapons like molotovs and set up traps to protect your base. Speaking of the base, building it is actually really fun. You get to use materials to build defenses and set up stations for crafting and storage. The nights get crazy, with zombie hordes attacking, so having good defenses really matters.

Fun little game. Hopefully the dev kicks on with it.

I love how you can gather resources, craft weapons, and upgrade your base to defend against zombie hordes it really makes you feel like you’re fighting to survive. The molotovs for destroying nests are a cool touch.
