Despite its short length, The Cabin Factory delivers an undeniably immersive horror experience.I love its fragmented narrative style – the story of the protagonist's family appears randomly in the cabins, and you can piece it together little by little through exploration. Sometimes it’s just small details, which require a bit of patience. The sound of wind when entering the cabin and the crackle of the heater give me a deeply immersive feel. The tips at the beginning of the game are crucial, they’re the key to judging whether a cabin is haunted, and that’s whether something is moving. Some cabins have obvious differences, while others require careful exploration. However, the cabins are not large, so you can finish checking them quickly – you just need to pay attention to easily overlooked corners. It’s really creative to design multiple different settings and anomalies in such a small space while creating a tense and terrifying atmosphere. The light and shadow in the room ...

The Cabin Factory was very interesting, managing to create such sinister and tense environment in such a small area to explore, not fully knowing what to expect creating uneasiness in every step taken. You explore different cabins (it's the same cabin but generated with different anomalies, or none at all) and you look for the minimal movement inside, if you do see something move you need to leave. I was quite surprised with some of the anomalies I encountered, some of them quite formulated into a bigger picture and detailed uncovering some of the history behind the cabin and their residents. After running into every existing anomaly the sense of uneasiness dissipated, and at this point I did not feel the need to continue playing other than to just hunt for the achievements that are quite easy to get. Overall totally worth the price, give it a go if you are really into horror and eerie vibes. ✧⊱༒︎༺ If you liked my review and want to know what other games I play and review, ...
Very spooky when you start out, the scares are unique and has an interesting backstory. Overall 10/10 psychological horror game.
You'll feel the tension building with each cabin, great fun sat with the wife playing this.
just aint it
I shit myself, very good game
This game is absolutely brilliant. It manages to be so genuinely horrifying, so subtly and (mostly) without relying on jump scares. Especially for the price, it's more than worth it. Scared the absolute crap out of me while looking beautiful, too.
didn't get far, too scary. good game tho
The Cabin Factory is a refreshing take on the identify anomaly games that have been gaining traction in the Horror Genre. It is effective in its variety of cabins that can hold Danger or a Clear as you can never be sure that what you see occurring is benign or dangerous. Having played a few of the Anomaly Games such as Exit 8 I can safely say that this one gave me the most creep factor, making me unnerved and actually startled me with effective jump scares that were well timed and placed. That there is also loosely based story within it about the person you are playing and the link to the Cabin gives another depth, giving you incentive to try and piece together what happened. I would recommend this game for anyone that likes Horror and Anomaly based games as it has become my top favourite from both the atmosphere of the game and that it gave me a real physical reaction. Pricing is more than fair for the amount of content that you get and it has a good replay-ability to it. I'd say for...
