A mysterious dark energy surge shatters the calm of the Government District, setting a resistance agent on a path toward a disturbing discovery — the Plastomorphosis experiment is far from over, and its consequences are more dangerous than ever.
The Re.Movers, a resistance movement against the Re. Surs (a peculiar dark energy), have tracked the surge to a mysterious source.
There, dark energy is being extracted via the Plastomorphosis procedure — either from many citizen victims (again!) or perhaps from one powerful individual who has absorbed more than anyone else.
The resistance suspects this might even lead to a breakthrough in the disappearance of Detective Jessie Sullivan, the only known survivor of the otherworld's dark energy incident eight years ago, who vanished without a trace.
Basil B., a skilled hacker and agent of the resistance, is dispatched to investigate. The trail leads to the Soldier of Sovereign’s dorm building, where an unusual spike in dark energy radiation was first detected.
His mission: find out what’s going on, uncover any traces of Sullivan, and if the nightmare of Plastomorphosis has returned — put an end to it once and for all.
The clock is ticking, and Basil must navigate a web of danger before the POWER of dark energy spirals out of CONTROL again.
