Graphics are insane! The World is very original and captivating, wish i could know more! The game is more of an ass clenching horror instead of jump scaring horror! Also its worth the price!

About This Game
You're driving away on a forest road, late at night, under a heavy storm. Your car breaks down. Luckily, there might be a gas station nearby.
But a misfortune never comes alone. The storm has brought something else, something otherworldly that oddly smells of spilled diesel oil. When it rains, it pours.
AUTO-CRISIS is a short horror game (~60mn) about cars, rain, being lost, and bad days.
IMMERSIVE SHORT HORROR EXPERIENCE:
Realistic environments in a surreal setting.
You are soaked wet, and can barely see. The thunder strikes in the distance, revealing otherworldly creatures in the storm's vanishing light...
The rain has brought something else. You are not alone.
WHAT TO EXPECT ?
A short psychological horror game (around 60 minutes)
A mystery to solve
A surreal trip about trauma, carcentrism and survivor's guilt
WHAT NOT TO EXPECT ?
No cheap jumpscares
No loud noises
No narrative that holds your hand
OTHERWORLDLY DANGERS:
There are creatures that can be only seen when the storm strikes. Remember where they are to avoid them.
A writhing, radiant orb of light is passing through. Look away from its draining warmth.
The forest is full of crawling nightmares. You can hear them, but can you see them in time ?
A giant absurd manifestation is towering over the trees, Start running now and you might make it.
HIGH QUALITY ENVIRONMENTS
Experience a short psychological experience packed with high fidelity graphics and optimized worlds made available by Unreal Engine 5. Go through a rural ruined parking, a subterrean surreal backroom, a boggy pine forest, a dump, a tribal village, and a continuous, endless road at night, away from everything.

User Reviews
Bought it on release to play a little horror game during the evening and it was a very unexpected experience, in a good way! I liked the different phases/sequences, the very strange and unique narration, I liked the different environments and weathers (very will done on this!). I totally recommend this game.
This is fun! Creepy little game, does a good job at setting the atmosphere I was unnerved from the start. I hate being chased/followed so I was always a little on edge. give it a whirl. wheres my fucking car
I have to say, I’m not usually a fan of horror games, and that’s actually a plus here ! AUTO-CRISIS leans more into psychological tension than cheap jumpscares or low-budget tricks. The aesthetic is beautiful and cleverly crafted to fit the theme. I especially loved the design and pacing of the first level, which really drew me in, even if the tempo slowed a bit later on. The story is intriguing, even though I'm not 100% sure I understood everything correctly in the end. Overall, AUTOCRISIS offers a unique experience that stands out, and I appreciate the care put into its design. Looking forward to seeing what the developer does next!
Autocrisis plays like a tale you'd find in a modern Weird Tales publication. It manages to play into common trends within the horror game genre, such as "liminal horror" and "the Lovecraft mythos" without coming across as hackneyed. How does Otherwordly Studios manage to keep such cliche concepts fresh in 2025? By presenting a properly disturbing experience, steeped in postmodern fears, balanced between what is known and what is not. This game is far from some shovel-ware Steam slop, or yet another Mignola-style Lovecraft game. I really loved this experience, it's worth the price, I got about an hour out of it. This is a fairly standard "walking sim" horror game, all things considered, albeit one that kept my attention. Rather than becoming tired, each sequence is brief, and thankfully doesn't repeat itself much; tension is ratcheted up the further you go. I'd recommend to not use the full sprint bar, use in short bursts, it refills quicker that way. Car accidents, particularly ve...
I couldn't stand listening to the guy wheezing every 3 seconds, you run 3 seconds (yeah 3 second stamina meter) he wheezes for 3 seconds, you run for 3 seconds, you get it. then and this is me, the game kept crashing, and crashing, etc. so for me the game was wheezing and crashing. not fun
This game was amazing for the price. The way they used oil as part of the aesthetics and narrative was excellent.
The atmosphere in this game is really well done, and the premise is refreshingly different from most horror titles I’ve played. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something unique.
The game has its own style.
A short and intense horror game with clever monster mechanics, excellent environmental design and a great ending. Automobile horror well worth taking for a ride!
