Space Corps is still in development and plans may change between now and release.
Space Corps is a digital card game where players take command of a capital ship in combat against another capital ship. Launch fighters, bombers, interceptors, and other spacecraft from your capital ship by playing the cards in your hand. You can also deploy officers, execute fleet maneuvers and order capital ship actions to boost your combat effectiveness. The game ends when one player has destroyed the opponent's capital ship.
Space Corps offers a more complex combat system than similar card games, by including two types of attack and two types of defense, as well as dice rolls. This introduces randomness into the game and allows for more interesting and varied gameplay, with less certainty to the outcome of card battles.
The first game mode available will be 1v1 player vs player. The next goal would be to offer a player vs computer mode, which could lead to a single player campaign story mode. There are also plans for a 2v2 player team game mode and a 3 player cutthroat that could begin development after release for additional content.
The monetization of Space Corps will come in the form of sales of Starter Packs, Booster Packs and Deck Slots.
