It's gross, but lord help me, I just can't stop shakin' and squeezin' that rat.
It's an artful game so I don't like leaving a negative review but I think their change of the ending completely breaks the intended narrative. It seems crazy to me to totally rewrite the ending of your story after releasing it, and even crazier to do so in a way that totally overshadows the actual ending's impact. At the very most I think this should be an option for subsequent playthroughs, but they really need to restore the original ending.

This game is solid enough for what it is, but unfortunately that's about it. It has nice visuals and is engaging enough to spend an hour or so playing, but once I beat it I was left thinking "Oh. I thought they were going to do something more interesting with this." The humor combined with the atmosphere is probably the strongest suit, but they never quite 100% mesh in my opinion.

I love the art/style of this game. It's tagged funny but its not laugh out loud funny. Even playing through for the second ending it doesn't take 2 hours but I would definitely recommend the game. I just love everything about the game.
