Honestly, this game just feels like a worse version of Digseum. If only the bombs had more interesting upgrades than "hits more tiles around impact". These kinds of games need a bit (or better yet a lot) of chaos in the core gameplay loop in my honest opinion.

Kinda like Digseum, but less fun. It's hard to explain why it's less fun, but it is. I've replayed Digseum 3 times (at least). Overall, not gonna lose sleep over it not matching Digseum in terms of fun-ness, since this was like 2-3 bucks.. For 2 hours of gameplay, it's worth it.

Good idler/clicker game, had a good time with it. Although, I have to say, I wish there was more content to it. Well, at least it isn't artificially padded to make it longer like other free idler/clicker games. Although the difference isn't much, I would say to get on sale since the game can be be completed rather quickly (around 2 hours) and there isn't replay value.

Pure Clicker Prestige - Yes, there's a max on prestige credits that is increased over time Active Play - This is 99% active play, the Idle element is useful early game but not late Visuals - Scenery changes, Pixel army guide blow up. Bombs evolve over time Special Mechanics - This is like an archeology game I've seen but can't remember the name of which the uncovering of an area Cash Shop - None This is a pure clicker, has an idle income but by end game you need to be completing stages for income boosts and prestige points to further increase the income. It's priced ok, but beyond the core mechanics there isn't much to do except for the routine.

Seeing how things have been going in the world lately, i'd say this is just the most up to date version of Digseum

A good, short idle/clicker game. Its unique selling point has to be its unexpected premise/theme. The idle part is accumulating war bonds that serve as the main currency, while the active/clicker part is dropping bombs to kill troops, destroy tanks and collect intel in gradually unlocked maps. There is something entertainingly callous to progressively upgrading from precise strikes to collect as much as you can with the limited number of low-yield bombs, to carelessly firing into the fog of war to blow up multiple targets with each explosion, only concerned with the time it takes you to clear each map, collect your blood money and move on to the next warcrime.

It's not a super-long game once you get the rhythm, and some of the late-stage upgrades are a bit OP, but it's a fun little upgrade game. It has an interesting lesson about how we often compartmentalize our enjoyment of conquest in video games vs. how it plays out in the real theaters of war around the globe. I look forward to see what this developer puts out next.
