About This Game

It’s time to journey back to the stars!

Dive into the enchanting worlds of LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete and LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete, two beloved JRPGs that have captured the hearts of gamers for generations.

LUNAR: Silver Star Story

LUNAR: Silver Star Story introduces Alex, an aspiring Dragonmaster who bands together with his friends to combat the perilous emergence of the Magic Emperor and stop him from taking over the world.

LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue

LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue picks up a thousand years later, and follows Hiro and his friends as they set out in search of the Goddess Althena alongside an enigmatic girl named Lucia. On this grand quest, fend off enemies like Borgan and White Knight Leo, who hunt down the group to eradicate what they deem to be the "Destroyer of Lunar."

This definitive remastered edition features enhanced graphics, audio, and quality-of-life improvements that will satiate that hunger for 90s nostalgia--better than you remember! Embark on these two adventures with updated language support, now available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, and German.

Master the Turn-Based Battle System

Engage in turn-based combat using your party’s arsenal of magic, skills, and items. Each character possesses defined strengths and unique skills that can be leveled up and learned throughout your journey. In LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete, explore the Crest System, in which characters may acquire benefits such as stat boosts and high-level magic from crest synergies.

Remastered Animated Cutscenes

As you explore, immerse yourself deeper within the universe with fully voiced in-game scenes and animated cutscenes, now with remastered graphics.

Quality of Life Improvements

Battle speed can now be adjusted at any point during battle, with three speeds to choose from. In LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete, enjoy a toggleable inventory management system in which all characters in the party share a combined inventory. Also in LUNAR 1, we've improved the Auto Battle system by making it possible for players to customize the CPU behavior of individual characters.

Play the Remastered Mode... or the Classic Mode!

Remastered Mode

Embark on the iconic adventures of LUNAR 1 and LUNAR 2 with all the remastered features, such as: widescreen (16:9) layout, enhanced sound and graphics, and updated character portrait sprites, menu icons, and bromides!

If nostalgia is what you crave, switch it over to the classic mode! Experience retro visuals with a 4:3 screen; original cutscenes, effects, and icons; three CRT filter options; and more.

Yes, I recommend this game. It is still a favorite RPG from when I first played it over 20 years ago to when I just played it again. I like the story and music very much and still gives me goose bumps. The faster combat was a nice feature and very much appreciated along with the other items they did. Glad to see this on Steam! If you have never played, please give it a shot and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I have and still do!

This is a collection of the first 2 games in the Lunar series. The first game gives such an incredible sense of adventure, and the second game really gives the feeling of going on an epic quest. While I think the combat system could be improved, I will say that at release these games must have been on another level. My biggest critiques are that your characters positioning (and whether or not they are subject to an AOE, etc.) are completely dependent on what enemies you attack, and whether that attack is melee or not. You can't directly control your characters and if you have 3 of them melee the same enemy.. they are now set up for an AOE... see where I'm going with this. That being said, these games sort of are over 30 years old now so I can't give them too much flak. For the most part the rest of this release shines. There are a few AI upscaled textures that look a bit weird (the white dragon in Lunar 1), but otherwise the upscaling isn't terrible. Some of the in-game cutscenes lo...

Significant departure from the OG SegaCD game. Story, overworld gameplay and combat/magic systems all changed, and not to the benefit of the player. Frustrating lack of quality of life features, especially when effort was made to change the menus and save systems.

I started getting into games with Lunar silver star harmony on the PSP, it's great that this series was able to be ported to PC. The older style graphics and UI did take some getting used to, but it was a fun experience. I really enjoyed playing through Eternal Blue as well, loved the vocal songs and story. The high cost is kinda hard to justify though, given that both games are short.

If you can play this anywhere else do so. The voice actors sound lifeless and the music hollow. I'm struggling to finish but I hate leaving a game unfinished.

I know some loser named JP24 who says this game sucks because they didn't retranslate it far enough. It's fine.
