Diner Bros 2

The heads are too big, and even with their most "view on top" camera angle, you just can't see what your character is holding when it's facing up. The way you grab stuff and can drop on the floor makes the game play very unsatisfying. It's not as snappy as Overcooked or Plate-Up, where you can really be tight with the controls. Here it doesn't feel as responsive, I'm often annoyed with the collision (because again, the characters are too big, or the counters are too small?). It's overall a more chill and relax experience, as you can't really lose, but most people (including me and my partner) like cooking games because of the mayhem and urgency of everything. If you don't have fail states it kinda removes the spice that makes cooking games fun (the chaos and stress). So maybe this game is for those who don't like chaotic cooking games in the first place. It's an improvement in nearly every way to the first game. I enjoy the ability to rearrange your kitchen as you see fit. This makes serving certain meals easier to your servers in single player. In coop it's fun to able to have a person assigned to certain tasks like grillmaster, salad tosser, drink/condiment. The only thing that is better in the first game is more modes. It seems the developer is working on that aspect of the game so I am really looking forward to that! Hopefully we get Taco Bros again that was my favorite from the first game.

It's literally a higher quality, customizable version of Diner Bros, so if you like the first game, I would recommend. I would say, also try to play with at least 2 people otherwise it gets very stressful.

Good sequel but very, very similar to the first one with very few additions. Feels more like a 1.5 but looking forward to more content. Not even one new type of cuisines has been explored which is really disappointing, it's basically the Diner Bros base game without pizzas and steaks

As good as the first DB with some neat new features already in other cooking games. Can play alone with AI if needs be but definitely more fun with a few friends. No promise that you will still be friends by the end of it though.

very fun game. I wish they had more options to choose from besides chicken and burgers, but you never know maybe they'll introduce some in the future.
