Played 7 hours the first time I launched it. There's not much to the game, but it's simplicity kept me hooked I think. It's a resource gathering game with exploration. Grab ore and fish for food and materials to build with. I already have a solar farm that rivals China.

This is an exploration game, but exploration is very shallow and bare bones. You can access basically the entire island from the get go with no real obstacles to overcome, and each explorable point of interest has approximately 30 seconds of investigation to do. What you cannot access from the get go requires many hours of "gameplay" that is uninteresting make-number-go-up loops. You put down a large number of solar or wind generators to make power. You use that power to get large quantities of ore. You use the power and the ore to make large quantities of hardware. Base building is largely divorced from real automation or logistics so it's genuinely just a matter of having numbers, and making number go up. Nothing matters but number. The presentation is amateurish and feels like a gamejam project. The visuals are solid, but text is not even properly centered in text boxes or on tool displays, causing janky looking overflows on a Comic Sans-esque font that looks like a placeholder. ...

The invert mouse don't work. Just in first person. In third person (when you use sled or kayak) not work. In this state the game not really usable for me. I don't recommend.
