About This Game

The Star Wars® Saga continues with Star Wars®: The Force Unleashed™ II, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader’s now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller—the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion.

In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader—but instead of training his protégé as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on – Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.

With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

Key features:
  • Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV.
  • Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies.
  • Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased.
  • Improved targeting system enhances precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment.
  • Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks.
  • Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) coupled with euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system.
  • Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals.
  • Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills.
  • Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, which will culminate in epic boss battles.
  • Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer's Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Impressive tech demo. Far too short for the price of €20 I must say. Crashes at random with propensity for cutscenes. Gameplay is much sleeker and streamlined compared to TFU, although the jank hasn't been done away with. Huge issue is the relative invisibility of QTE inputs compared to TFU I, though its not debilitating for there's only two (boss) fights that heavily rely on them. Story is shallow and doesn't do anything with Starkiller. This is imo a DLC to TFU I. Worth playing due to its relatively small size of 9GB but absolutely wait for sale.

I've played many "broken" games with poor compatibility on newer operating systems, but this one is unbelievably annoying. Even the fixes don't always work. Don't get me wrong — the story, visuals, and some gameplay elements are great — but in this state, the game just isn't worth it in my opinion.

To say The Force Unleashed 2 is a disappointment would be the understatement of the decade. What few strides it makes in improving upon the issues of the first game are utterly crushed beneath what a ruthlessly boring, lacking in creativity, narratively abominable mess that LucasArts decided to deliver to us. The fact this game was built in nine months MAY be miraculous considering its general state of polish, but its short development time shows in nearly every aspect of the game. Visually, the game hovers in this strange place of being both better and significantly worse than the first game. The pre-rendered cutscenes are much smoother, including more detail and better animation quality than the original. However, the game frequently intersperses in-game cutscenes that look awful, every character looking like they're made of wax. The environments are often pretty, but far too clean. Gone is the grit, the messiness, the chaotic nature of the varied environments of the first game, all...

Fun game still, but I gotta give this game a thumbs down. I tried playing it on PC, but crashes were a problem at one point, and then the cutscenes stopped working and I had to verify the game, after I had enough of the crashing I played it on my steam deck and my goodness, the cutscenes are in SPANISH. I tried finding ways to get that fixed but man this game may run better on steam deck, but them cutscenes, had to skip them all. And to add one more issue with the game, the Endor DLC never got added, and I'm like asking, WHY?! The worst port that never got any proper patching.

Sequel with short simple story. Similar levels, similar battle mechanics, similar enemies with same graphics. Good game for a few evenings about Jedi, Force and lightsabers :) For the funs of previous game or setting ONLY

Amazing game, but keeps crashing. I have a custom built pc, but anytime there is a large scene, like the Salvation crashing, the game keeps crashing. Full crash and shutdown for the same. Best I can tell, its a port issue as no other fix or workaround appears to help.
