Unassuming looking game, but it's packed with amazing visuals and a banger soundtrack, I only wish you used that last credits song more often, maybe replace the title theme with it, and move the title theme somewhere else. The sketch style of the game might be a little deceiving, this is one of the prettiest games to come out of RPG-Maker, or honestly any game in general, it has simple visuals, but the vibes it creates are just sublime, admittedly a bit on the arthouse end of the spectrum, if you into that. I liked the writing a lot, that said, for me personally I felt the game didn't need to be 4 hours, it has a good story that constantly repeats its themes of acceptance and overcoming your painful memories, I honestly think there were better opportunities in the narrative where the game could have stopped, and I would have been happy with it. Now, there are a lot of similar games where a character has to deal with his past and come out on the other end, but to be fair, I think this ...

Wow. This game is poetry. Its real and authentic. The visuals might seem off putting but they compliment the setting perfectly and set up the atmosphere like no other game has. This game's soundtrack is PEAK there are no other words for it. Play this with headphones, and for gods sake, PLAY IT! P.s. I cried what the hell
A hidden gem of an RPGMaker game. 7 Days has an incredible aesthetic and music (though it isn't terribly apparent from the trailer, almost every single sprite in the game is hand-drawn), good characters and writing, varied environments, and a plot that was quite interesting and had a lot of emotional depth (though there were probably too many repeated metaphors, I feel like it did a good job at shaking things up over time). There were a few moments that hit particularly close to home for me, and the ending wrapped things up quite nicely. There are also multiple routes/endings, though I don't have the guts to get bad endings in these kinds of games, so that's not something I can comment on. I guess there's not too much more I can say besides that this game is also incredibly cheap for its high quality, especially in regards to the soundtrack (which has 84!!! original songs and clocks in at 3 and half hours); I absolutely, positively recommend giving this game a shot if you have the bu...
There needs to be more positive reviews here!
Nice story, nice art style, nice music,.... and nice "I'm speechless" ending... Overall, a good 8/10. Also, good loaf cats

The themes of isolation and being alone really hit home for me. There’s something about the way the game quietly emphasizes distance between people, between family, between who you are and who you want to be that mirrors so much of what I’ve felt in my own life. Spending long stretches of time in silence, just left with your own thoughts, is something I know all too well. The game didn’t shy away from that emptiness it made me sit with it, made me remember what it feels like when you want to reach out to someone but you’re not sure if they’ll still be there when you do. The way family is portrayed complicated, sometimes just out of reach was both heartbreaking and comforting. It reminded me of my own struggles with staying connected, of how easy it is to drift apart even when you care deeply. It’s not just a game, it’s an experience that makes you reflect on yourself. I think that’s why it feels so heavy for me. I saw parts of myself in it, parts I usually keep hidden...
A very enjoyable experience. Definitely worth the price
Another banger made by RPGmaker. I was blank staring when the credits were rolling, digesting what I played through. I can count on one hand the number of games that have done that to me. The blurb on the store page perfectly summarizes what the story is about, although I wasn’t expecting the level of complexity the game was able to convey with its narrative. Without spoiling, the game goes into heavy topics and you as a player have to decide how you’re going to acknowledge these topics, which shapes how the narrative plays out. The narrative doesn’t have any twists, or gotcha moments. However, what makes it so effective that is able to tell a simple story without it coming off as formulaic. The art-style is hand-drawn, which gives it an intimate feel. It comes across as the boy in the story narrating to you, the player, by drawing pictures to illustrate very personal experiences. The sound-track is amazing, and it added depth into the game while amplifying the atmosp...
One of the routes for the game was beautifully sad, a story that I will always keep in the back of my mind to think about. The other route was, shocking to say at the very least. But I will say this is one of the few games that I have cried to, and that's very rare.
