About This Game

You've woken up in limbo, somewhere between heaven and hell. As a spirited leader, your goal is to navigate lost souls like yourself into the light and ascend into heaven.

How you go about saving souls, is up to you.

In this arcade score attack horror game, you as the player, will start off in a random biome. You must navigate around finding lost souls along the way and guide them towards the light. Whilst finding your way there you'll have to avoid getting spotted and possibly killed from the demons that lurk within Baratrum.

The game ends when you've decided to ascend knowing that you're happy with the number of souls you've saved which will then be scored into the global leaderboard. Choosing to gamble your life and end up dying, you'll lose your chance to take claim of the number of souls you've saved and not get your score added to the global leaderboard.

This is a challenging game.

No playthrough is the same as the world is procedurally generated on every run. Enabling an unlimited number of playthroughs and terrifying fun.

Key features

  • Procedurally generated map (3km squared).

  • 3 different biomes, each with their own hellish creatures.

  • Character skill progression

  • Play stealthy or "run-and-pray" leaving those who fall behind.

  • Global leaderboard

This game is just good dumb fun. You spawn in the middle of a forest in your underwear and search for others in the forest in their underwear. Your goal is to get as many followers you can into a portal on the map. Where it gets silly is you can find guns on the ground and equip yourself and your followers individually with guns. Gameplay consists of you and this human centipede of dozens of people following you, sometimes armed. There's a whole lot of jank, the UI is awful, but there's easily $4 worth of fun here. The developer could have a lot of fun expanding on this concept.

I got a whole lot of entertainment out of this simple game. The little people yelling 'hey' across limbo in their tighty whiteys was an exceptional choice - it's a touch of playfulness that lightens the mood after frantically shooting and running from a demon!
