I understood nothing and regret nothing.
I love weird, surreal, unnerving games so this is right up my alley. This version iterates on the free Psychopomp (also available on Steam), so you can try that free version first if you aren't sure of the purchase. Maybe don't bother playing the free version entirely as I believe you'd still need to replay those chapters in GOLD. The gameplay doesn't change much from area to area so the game very much relies on its vibe (which I personally really enjoy). Let that vibe be the main reason you'll want to purchase this game.
One of the best indie games i've ever played Real Life Tip: your parents are government agents hired to monitor you.
Gameplay Tip: If you love unsettling atmosphere types of horror games, this is for you. Go in blind. Just do it. Real World Tip: Gotta be one of my favorite games I've played this year. The atmosphere is *just* right, there was only one notable scare for me,
the "You" in the Human Bed(?) sent me into fight or flight mode
but the rest was what I love to see in horror games-- interesting and incredibly unsettling atmospheres with an entertaining protagonist. Exploring some areas for the first time had me on edge the entire time, seeing the creepy and charming character designs while also learning about what each level exactly *is* had me hooked from start to finish. Some of those extra areas had me dreading exploration because of how unsettling they were. Amazing from start to finish, hope there'll be a sequel!
she just like me for real
game with some amazing lore being built up that's extremely well hidden, but has what i suppose i could call a "media literacy skill floor" that is quite high to understand. there are some mechanics in the game that i think are slightly out of place. the combat undermines the game's messaging sometimes (but it makes sense for the character), the inventory system is out of place and underutilized (also buggy), and the movement can be frustrating to wrap your head around for a lot of people. despite these things the game is a great psychological horror game with banger music and immaculate environments. it comes together to be a surreal and enlightening experience with a great ending. seriously though, the music in this game is too good to be confined to an experience like this. make more music NOW
I'm not crazy it's just the government is clearly hiding many things from us and i obviously had to break into their buildings with my hammer to find said secrets!
Schizophrenia looks cool for some reason...
This is very game!, hammers and ballsack.
