For a solo dev game, it uses its assets effectively. Inspired by phasmophobia and demonologist but with a twist of originality. Reminds me of indie classics like Slender the eight pages or amnesia custom stories.

About This Game

Banish the Demon
As a renowned ghost hunter, you travel to abandoned places around the world and try to destroy the evil that has destroyed the lives of many people. Demons live in these forgotten places, dangerous to anyone who disturbs their presence.
Evil in these places draws its life energy from cursed objects that were used in an occult ritual to resurrect the demon. Your task will be to destroy these objects and weaken the demon enough to defeat him.
WARNING! Demons can appear at any time and try to take your life!

Still something different
The quests to weaken the demon and the ritual process vary each time the game is launched depending on the type of demon and the location, ensuring that every game is different.
In addition, the behavior and aggressiveness of demons is varied depending on the player's playing style, the sequence of tasks and other aspects of the game.

As an experienced demon hunter you will try to:
- -Complete a series of assigned tasks to weaken the demon
- -Perform a ritual process based on hunting location
- -Destroy the demon soul
- -DON'T DIE!

User Reviews
A low budget, single player worse version of Phasmophobia. All you really do is look for keys and wait for your night vision to recharge. Just play Phas.
Banisher is a surprisingly solid horror game with a dark vibe and a unique twist. It reminds me a bit of Demonologist, but it has its own identity — which is impressive, especially considering it was made by just one developer. The atmosphere is strong, the sound design is on point, and while I did get lost sometimes, it never felt annoying — I always found my way back and wanted to keep going. I’m really excited to see what’s next. Hoping the shop gets added soon, especially for buying skins — that would make replaying even more fun. If you're into indie horror, Banisher is absolutely worth a try.
