In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla.

Not worth a cent more than the $2 I paid for it. Boring and easy. The combat isn't varied or polished enough. It pads out its time with large maps that take long to traverse and with an excuse for "lore" it shoves down your throat

You're Thora, a viking female warrior who have passed away in an inglorious manner. For this, she cannot reach Valhalla, the reign of Odin and becoming an einherjar. But Odin has given her a second chance: she has to impress the Gods by killing five jötnar in order to ascend to Asgard. The game is the first of the five games devolped by Thunder Lotus Games (one, At Fate's End, will be released next year) and it was created thanks to a crowfounding campaign on KIckstarter. The art direction is impressive: it adopts a hand drawn, frame-by-frame art style. Even if it is easy to complete and it is can also be completed in 5 hours, it is money well spent.
