About This Game

If you're not careful and you slip through the wrong crack in reality, you'll find yourself in The Wetrooms, where nothing exists but the cold, unyielding touch of endless damp tiles and dark pools. The oppressive silence broken only by the distant echo of dripping water, and the unnerving sensation of being watched by something just beyond your sight. The labyrinth of pools rooms stretches out in all directions, an infinite maze of dimly lit, glistening corridors and eerily still pools. Every turn feels dangerous, every step echoing louder than the last. Move quickly if you catch a glimpse of something moving beneath the water's surface—because it has definitely noticed you.

The Wetrooms: Liminal Pools is a first person horror puzzle game set in a surreal, dreamlike world of liminal pools. Navigate through intricate rooms, solve puzzles to proceed, and avoid and escape from a malevolent presence.

Cheap and poorly made liminal space pools game. I believe this was designed for phones and ported to PC. In this game there is no grand liminal space architecture or environment to explore. Instead you are treated with small 5 minute rooms to complete and find the exit. - As you click play game from the main menu, the arrow stays on the screen smack dab in the middle and stays there as you walk around in the game. Completely inexcusable and embarrassing. - I had to play the game on mute, both the music and the sound your feet make in the water are super irritating. - There is one ghost like white transparent enemy in the game, if you touch him you start from the beginning of the game, not the level you are on. Oh and did I mention? He can teleport 2 feet in front of you sometimes at will. Or chase you down a skinny corridor with no way to avoid him. - You character walks like a turtle, very slow and frustrating, with no run button. - The environments / levels are super ...

seriously such a slow and terrible game my hand actually hurts playing this, the level design is pretty but thats it, each level if you can even call it that, is like 2 mins long but if you die then guess what?... you have to start all the way from the beginning, not the start of the area you where in, no, but the actual beginning part and its just very boring, I can feel myself falling asleep from playing this.

I wanted to give a thumbs up because I know how hard it is to write a full game, ready to present it to the public. The monster looks quite pretty and walks very natural. The water looks good and you can climb ladders which is something. There are rubber ducks which I like but thats about it. Many things have been said in the other comments. It is slow, very slow. You can run with shift but only a few seconds, then your stamina runs out. So I run with Shift all the time and it accelerates, slows down, accelerates, like a stop and go in a car. It can happen that you are trapped in a corridor and one time the monster fell on my head. The most imaginable punishment happens to you: You have to start AGAIN from the beginning. And in my case, all the valves in the first few levels kept their positions and I just had to run through the levels. Super boring. Since I don't give up that fast I played till the end, but without any cheers or congrats, the game starts over again, this time with ...
