As it stands this game has a lot of things working against it. Small dev team, slow progress and set backs, empty mmo world with no playerbase, confusing interfase, confusing HUD, poor sound quality, super simplistic and unfun space combat, and no shred of anything ressembling what is in the "features" list. For instance. "Twitch combat" No, there is no twitch combat. The space combat is slow and plodding, it is literally just lining up your mouse with an enemy and shooting till it dies. The enemies have slow and wide movement paths, and your own ships movement feels extremely unrealistic. There is no sense of feel of thrust, or speed in anything you do. You fly up to an enemy as fast as you can, and stand still as you shoot at it, hoping it doesnt fly out of range making you need to chase it down once again only to stop and keep shooting. "Why early access?" According to the post the dev claims this game needs to be tested with a REAL population. When I bought this game on march,...

I hate doing this kind of thing because I have been both a game developer and reviewer, so I know how hard it is to do an amazing game. The idea is sound enough, and the trailer is tempting, but the execution is lacking soul and substance. So what works? You can dogfight both AI and human controlled fighters. The AI fighters are a lot easier, but still rewarding. You also have to discover the universe, it's not justg handed to you on a plate. This encourages exploration. The controls are ok. What doesn't work? The sound is weak (which is easily fixed guys!). The waypoint system is a nightmare. Scratch that, the nav system is a nightmare. It needs simplifying. If a civilisation can create a spacefaring culture, then the navigation system would be paramount, and easy to use. You can fly a space station. Sounds cool right? Wrong. Space stations are for deploying and making money from while you are away doing someting else, not blasting level 1 pirates! This game is not as terrible as s...

I highly recommend this game if you like space sims, or even trucking sims. I like the variety of shipments you can carry from planet to planet. The graphics are great, and run smoothly on a low-end computer. For the price I couldn't turn it down. I like space fighter games, but the "trucking" aspect of it keeps me coming back to this, playing for hours. It like a combination of Moon Breakers and Euro Truck Simulator. I would like to see a little more personality thrown in, like better space station stops. Perhaps a more "Truck Stop" feel to it, or some humor here and there. Or just throw on the "Convoy" soundtrack on Winamp and your good. Excellent game at the price. Easy to get in to, Lots to explore, and you don't feel ripped off.

Great space sandbox game! a lot of work and what make me to buy this game is what this kid said : "make it so as the very best stuff is earnt thru hard work and persistance (plaing for a REALLY long time) my dad plays star trek online and hes got alot of really pro stuff and not spent a penny, stuff which CANT be bought, many things can be, but they can also be earnt rather than bought, make it so as the micro transaction thing works for ppl who are impatiant, and make it so as those HUGE battle cruisers need to be earnt through lots of hard work, in other words arnt bought with real money OR in game money"

Yes, I can recommend this game. Why: It's a space game and better than many. Lots of enemies, lots of different ships, exploration, trading and ship controlling is good enough. Price tag is cheap for what you get, and if you buy this on sale, it's a real bargain. Why not: If you want best graphics, this is not for you Nobody plays this and one reason is nobody knows about this game. I personally had never heard of this until I saw this in my queue after couple of thousand other titles.

Hey guys,i dont know why this game is getting negative reviews,it is a really good game, the graphics are acceptable, and the game play is above average, for the price every one should buy this game and not listen to the reviewers who think that a game selling for less than $10.00 game should be exceptional, this game is really fun to play.

If you like clunky controls, unoriginal models and sound (yes I used the fighter ship, that you are assigned when you start, and some of the sounds in a college project back in 2003), and early 2000's graphics, then this game is for you. To me it is complete crap.
