THIS IS A MESSAGE TO THE DEVELOPER I played the first game for hours, and this one seems more feature rich, which I like. But UI feels more clunky, especially postioning of the nodes and restriction on zoom out feature. In the first game we were able to organize every single node into custom boxes however we wanted, but this game does not allow that. Also I can't zoom out more than set amount, and after a while all the policies and nodes clutter the screen. Yes I know that it is possible to change icon sizes, but is not enough. Even though I want to go through the ages and experience the whole game, this Democracy 4 style circular node layout just makes my eyes and brain melt after a while, because every new icon starts clumping on each other until it becomes an unmanageable huge mess.

Positives: The game has incredible amounts of potential, the early game flows very nicely with the way stuff is unlocked (Also some research being unlocked by the "population" is a very good idea) The mechanics are very deep, and you discover new stuff every minute The developers are releasing daily updates, they clearly care about the game and i really hope this continues Negatives: The UI is a little unintuitive (why is the scrolling on the map reversed? Also pressing Esc with a node open should just close it, not open the Pause Menu) but when you get used to it it flows alright The game is a little overpriced Sidenote: It would have been very easy for the Devs to use AI in creation of the Icons and I am very very happy that they didn't

This game looks promising if you like playing around with numbers, but currently it feel more like early access: - The balancing is totally off you do get nearly no money from taxes but with some little trade you have basically unlimited money - The difficulty is completely off. There is a difficulty setting which gives some flat negative stats, that makes certain stuff at the beginning impossible but later on does not impact much - Many of the mechanics does not seem to have a significant impact and can be just ignored - You can ignore for a huge part of the game main mechanics like stability, legitimacy, elite and common happiness, since impact seem minimal except later on when it splits your hole empire, but with a huge empire size it so or so does not look as if you can do something about stability - trading is totally imbalanced, you get basically unlimited money and can buy up nearly all provinces without even going to war - But since you have unlimited money you so or so can jus...

Even better than OUI, but still needs some polishing and tweaks.

Beautiful game with interesting mechanics I see a glowup if compared to the first one but also some problems on the war side and it's too easy to become the dominant super power, There are significant frame drops due to the fact that there are too many elements on the screen without an order that intertwines like never before, there are enough positive points to expect the results. The economic side has immense potential but it's too casual I unlocked the steam without even realizing it, while in the first one it was a slow path to get there
