I've found the game to be a relaxing option for a lazy afternoon. The maps vary (though the ability to import/design one's own maps would certainly be nice), and the game has a feel not unlike the older iterations of e.g. Railroad Tycoon. Having said that, I'm not really a fan of the "diamonds" model of only being able to slowly build up rolling stock as you play the game more and more. That's leading to a lot of "grinding" through quick runs on the "East Coast" map (basically the New York metro area) to produce diamonds so I can get more trains for other maps. All in all I'd give it a B-, and a shift in the game's model and a clear process for editing maps would bump it up to a solid B+. For like $5, it isn't a bad deal. Editing to add: I wish the game had a few more options for the various scenarios. Right now, it's "fastest to 1000 pax" or "fastest to 300 units of cargo".
