A high-quality riff on the "dicebuilder" sub-genre, largely comparable to Slash & Dice in core mechanics, boasting a good, cohesive aesthetic and a good challenge. My biggest initial issues with the game are that: (1) the actual amount of content feels very low, even for a game that's only $8, in comparison to its genre peers, and (2) the game commits the cardinal sin of dice and deckbuilder games (and, arguably, roguelites in general) and encouraging endless, un-fun grinding mid-run. To elaborate on my second point; there are various heal and armor skills (including those you start with) which may be used over and over in a given battle. Thus, if you leave only one enemy alive with low damage potential (which you can also enforce with debuffs like Weak) you can just choose not to make attacks and take turn after turn after turn rerolling and using your heal and armor skills to fully heal after every fight (which the game evidently does not expect/assume you to do, based on ho...

About This Game
Luck & Loot is a fast-paced dice-builder roguelike where strategy and chaos collide. Forge custom dice, harness wild loot synergies, and dive into the cursed realms of Eldralith; each run a new roll of fate.
Outsmart brutal foes in turn-based combat, embrace high-risk modifiers, and uncover dark secrets in a world trapped in cycle. Victory changes you. So does failure.
Dialogue hits as hard as the dice in this pixel-powered showdown.
Nostalgic Roguelike With A Dice Building Twist
Play as one of three heroes, each haunted, each hunting meaning. Customize your dice with powerful, swappable faces as you forge the perfect build through each high-stakes run. Every choice counts. Every roll is a risk.
Every face is a choice—build your dice, shape your fate.
Dynamic Dice Building
Forge your strategy with interchangeable, upgradeable dice faces that define your power—and your fate. Sacrifice weaker sides to unlock potent traits, and adapt your build on the fly as the dangers of Eldralith deepen. But choose carefully: each die holds only so much power, and every decision edges you closer to mastery… or ruin.
Choose your curse in color—each palette a new shade of doom.
Pixel Peril & Chiptune Charm
Descend into a dark fantasy where every pixel drips with dread and every chiptune echoes with myth. Luck & Loot blends retro style with eldritch horror, inviting you to brave haunted forests, corrupted keeps, and cursed melodies alike.
Will you break the cycle, or become one more echo in the void? The dice are cast. The fate is yours.

User Reviews
This game was really addictive. The strategy and different builds you can run is really awesome once you start figuring out the various combinations. Love the fact that its random every time keeping it fresh and honestly laughed so hard at the achievements and various dialogues throughout - nice job guys
Absolutely great game! You can make so many interesting builds between all the skills and your 4 dice. I highly recommend it.
I rarely play a game thoroughly, and even less so to the point where I was willing to improve up to the leaderboard position (3rd at time of writing, but that won't last long). A very fun, and well-balanced game. I appreciate the speed at which things progress. After setting up my preferred colour scheme, the graphics were also pleasant, though simply-kept. Would recommend.
aggressively addictive
At first, I thought there was a lot of randomness in the game, but in fact, this game is all about constant choices, and your success in the game depends on the correctness of your choices. Choose paths, attack or heal, equipment, ransom or battle.
This game is amazing. Everything about it is great, including the developers. I joined the discord server (and i recommend everyone to) and I have had many opportunities to talk to the developers. They are both great people and love to chat. I recommend buying this game if you like roguelike games. It also will get more updates eventually from what I have heard, so you might as well just buy it now and stick along with it as it grows. Thanks for reading, great game!
Small but funny&addictive dice-building game. Yesterday we start playing with my son in the evening, and than suddenly we realized its already past 1am. Quite a lot of tinkering and possible satisfying builds.
What a great game. The gameplay is great and the aesthetic is wonderful. It's hard, or it's possible I just suck. Either way it is really fun and super cheap
First impressions - pretty positive, gives me some solid Slice & Dice vibes, which is a good thing. I'd love to see more variety in characters/skills, more unique mechanics and interactions, and the rewards from each fight feel a little slim - you only get gold if you choose it, so you either get skills(which are also how you upgrade other skills) OR gold OR whatever else, so you'll often run out of gold or simply not have any, or have to skip rewards and hope the shops are worth it. Still though that's about the only thing that stood out. (And it seems like demo progress doesn't carry over for unlocks?) I do see a lot of repeats pretty quick as far as skills and such, but there seem to be a decent number of unlocks too. I also feel like there's some neat mechanics and synergies potential but you get so few skills to adjust/modify your dice that whatever you start with is *most* of what you'll run with. There's not really a way to shift to focus more on ice, poison/bleeds, rerolls, et...
