Fun for a small indie strategy RPG; fairly shallow, but the mechanics are interesting. Multiplayer mode is lots of fun, even playing solo

About This Game
Evil stirs. Not only does a deadly plague ravage the land, consuming entire villages, but rumours abound that the long-forgotten old gods including Despater, the God of Death, have awakened from slumber. Join Betha, a mysterious girl with a powerful secret, and the survivors of Tadec on a desperate quest to uncover the truth and destroy the source of the blight.
Traverse a rich medieval fantasy world across 32 branching scenarios and confront the evil that schemes in the shadows. The choices you make – who you choose to ally with, who you leave behind, and what you’re willing to sacrifice – will shape the fate of the world.

Great game! I played this as a mobile game years ago, but it was eventually removed from the app store. I kept hoping to play it again, so when I saw it was coming to Steam, I grabbed it right away. It's a turn-based tactical RPG where you move through different levels with your party. Sometimes you get to choose your path, which leads to new levels and lets you meet new characters. As you move to the next story node, you pick which characters to bring along while the others stay behind. Each level introduces one or two new characters to your party, so you always have plenty of choices. You can stick with your original team until the end or switch things up and try new characters every few levels. My only small complaint is that you have to include the new characters in your party each level, which means you can't always use your favorites, and they might not level up as much. Sometimes the new characters are weaker than your old ones, and other times the...
I'm giving this game a good review, because I enjoyed my play through despite some balance issues in the last 5 or so missions. This is a fun little CRPG, with a surprisingly deep character building system. The combat scenarios are varied and force you adjust your tactics to the challenge at hand instead of adopting a single tactic for all scenarios. I played the game on the hardest difficulty setting and I would say it was suitably challenging although, towards the end, both your characters and the enemy were too tanky and the game slowed down. The game is an action point based CRPG where you control a party of anywhere from 3 to 12 characters. You don't get to create your own character, rather you use a set of premade characters to construct your party. Characters you use in a scenario gain one skill point that can be used to buy more skills, which are grouped according to weapon and magic type. Every scenario you gain around 2 more characters, and after approximately 4 sce...
Great RPG. This game is easy to enjoy and keeps you hooked. Gilligames really pulls it all together with the sound, acting, and how playable it is. Great game!
