If you’re a fan of rhythm games like Guitar Hero, Rockband, or my personal favorite: Audiosurf but want a modern roguelike twist on the genre, this game will scratch that itch. It does a great job of evoking the high intensity gameplay of those older rhythm games, with modern progression mechanics, short runs for casual game sessions, and excellent music.

Very fun rogue like rhythm game from a indie studio! I have some small issues with the UI but very minor. Still really fun to play!
I'm always drawn to indie games that you can really tell the devs put a lot of passion into and Fresh Tracks is absolutely one that I can feel the talent and the passion of the devs oozing out of. The music, level design and writing just fit together so well. Fresh Tracks and Clair Obscur will be fighting for best soundtrack of the year for sure.
Fresh Tracks is an amazing rhythm game and the music is incredibly catchy! The artwork is BEAUTIFUL and it's so fun to play while singing along. I usually suck at games, but if I can learn, I'm sure everyone else can as well LOL 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!
What an AMAZING game! The music is so catchy! I can't stop grooving to it! The game play is amazing and leveling up feels amazing! I usually get tired of rhythm games, but this one has me hooked! Get it! You'll love it!

Really good take on a rhythm game x roguelite with an awesome story but seems there's a few bugs. If you're used to rhythm games a few points to note are: - song selection is just for practice (doesn't save scores) - only saves during a run and some songs take a while to get to - can't practice song sections (have to begin at start) - timing is mainly for charging sword abilities and moving on beat doesn't effect your score but helps avoid obstacles - power ups are very random like most roguelites Bugs: - mislabeling shortcuts (all say first boss name instead of relevant boss name) - shortcuts not unlocking on Koda until beating next boss rather than current boss (works for other mythics) - song jittering (picture and sound briefly pauses) despite meeting PC requirements - some subtitles incomplete (instead says something like Mar_Voice_7) Pros: - rewarding game-play with good difficulty build up - awesome story that keeps you wanting to play - unique controls - like VR (reminds m...
This game has become my obsession, I am not usually good at rhythm games but I have totally locked in on this. I'm down to (what I assume) is the last few runs of this game and it's still kicking my butt, but I can feel myself getting better every run. This is one of the most satisfying games I have ever played. I met the devs at PAX East and they were all lovely people and seemed very passionate about their game. Their discord server has devs active a lot of the time to help troubleshoot problems and report bugs to or just post pictures of dogs. 10/10
intuitive controls, varied and high-quality soundtrack, interesting mechanics. whoever wrote the story would make for a great dungeon master. a must-buy if you enjoy rhythm games and/or roguelites
A very fun rhythm game, with an unexpectedly fun rougelike twist. When you get into the flow of the rhythm and have the controls down to a reflex, the tracks (both the songs and the paths being take) pull you in and can immerse you in the moment in a very satisfying way. I look forward to playing more, and seeing if I ever get good enough to try the higher difficulties.
