The skiing mechanic feels good and there seems to be a lot of content. What is missing are the other skiers. The resorts feel empty and the forests are not very diverse. The good news is that this is in early access, so there is time to add in more detail and do some polishing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBW6QE-_2Fs

Ski Patrol manages to combine the fun sport of skiing with search and rescue into one package. The graphics, while not the greatest, still provide the game with a unique sense of charm. The focus clearly went into the technical aspects of the skiing movement, as that's where I believe this game shines. Words or footage alone can't do it justice; it's something you have to play to truly experience. Regarding big critiques, I think Ski Patrol does fall flat when giving the player an engaging main objective to work toward. This is mainly (I think) due to the fact the "open world" part of the game is simply underdeveloped and lacking in the variety needed to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting.
