About This Game
From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!
Can you survive five nights at Freddy's?
"For all the simplicity of the game’s controls and premise, Five Nights at Freddy‘s is frightening. It’s a fantastic example of how cleverness in design and subtlety can be used to make an experience terrifying. Simple still images and proper character design steal the show in this game, and show that Scott Cawthon knows quite a lot about the secret fears people feel when looking at creepy dolls and toys. It’s elegant in how it sows fear, and is a must-own for anyone who likes scary games." -Joel Couture

This is where it all started, my years-long love affair with the FNAF franchise. Bonnie on the left, chica on the right, foxy sprinting at you, freddy lurking in the shadows waiting for his chance to sneak into the office, perfection. The sound of the lights, the doors, flipping up the camera, “diddi dum dum dum” from Pirate’s Cove, Chica making a right mess in the kitchen, and Freddy’s song. Golden Freddy. All adding to a suspenseful and tense atmosphere that keeps you locked in despite the underwhelming gameplay. These sounds will never leave me. The sounds of childhood. “Hello? Hello hello?” at one point I knew this whole phone call from memory. Phone Guy, such an iconic character, such a tragic ending. I can’t believe people (me included) once suspected him of being the murderer. Although there isn’t too much in terms of lore, the newspaper clippings that can show up randomly on camera gave us the foundations of the story to come. “It’s me”. I remember spend...
It's no Chipper & Sons, but it's a neat little game. I look forward to what Scott has cooking up next in the year 2015.
(Just shy of) 11 Years, 11 main series games, (13 if you include Ruin & Into The Pit) tens of thousands of fan games, an entire bookshelf's worth of books, several board games, several crossovers, actual IRL attractions, (for example, the horror attraction that was in Las Vegas in 2016) 2 movies, an ungodly amount of merchandise, fucking official snapchat filters, hundreds of millions of dollars, a boatload of memes and the creation and/or huge influence on hundreds to thousands of people's careers. All spawned from one little game made as a last ditch attempt from a solo indie game developer that was ready to give up. Thank you, Scott. Can't wait for December 5th.
This game is an easily 10/10. nothing beats the classic! one thing i will say though is that for some reason i cant change the screen to full screen. which kinda distracts me from the game. so pls fix it.
Challenging and skillful game, if that's the kind of stuff you like, this is the game for you. Don't forget the lore.
a true classic. even after all these years the game still manages to get me with its jumpscares. and the games final challenge (4/20 mode) is also just as challenging and rewarding at the same time. its not my favorite FNAF game, and has some flaws, specifically the fact that the gameplay can get boring if you understand the game on the first 3-4 nights. still worth playing. 8/10.
best enjoyed if you play it alongside fnaf 4 for the authentic michael afton experience
It's not at all clear but this is a 100% point and click game
Just beat the game in 96 minutes for the first time. All 7 nights, 4/20 mode, 3 stars. I only played this game on my phone lik over than 7 years ago. Is this impressive?
