This is the worst full release game I think I've ever played. Lets start with why. The game doesn't even run unless you drop your Java version back to 7. Then you have to hunt down a mysterious executable and then run that before you can even launch the game in Steam. So basically - it doesn't run. If you do happen to do this (which I did) you can get it to work - kinda. Character creation is really more like character class selection. With 5 very basic types, Guardian, Warrior, Priest, Mage and Rogue types. No customization whatsoever. You start in a "lobby" of sorts? Its a very minimal castle type structure and the game tells you to go talk to some knight guy. This is probably where you'll start to regret your purchase. The keys are not by default bound to traditional WASD for movement - fine so I go to change them- and figure out that you cant change them in the UI at all. You have to enter commands in the chat window to rebind each key. UGH really? Fine, did that. Now you talk...

About This Game
In a final burst of courage, the armies of five kingdoms joined forces and swooped down on the ruins of Branilv at the heart of the region Ymar. This was where the world of Men had cracked, releasing Chaos from its jail of darkness. But brave warriors fought a too powerful enemy, indifferent to steel and fire. When the last of them finally died, the king Meldorian realized that the world was entering so dark times that the light itself will be forgotten. Secluded in the white stone fortress which overlook Rhianon, the proud city of Silme, he contemplated his kingdom one last time before that Chaos spreads its shadow on.
But although humanity seemed to prepare for death, the gods offered men a last present: the weapons to fight.
In a few days, the same stories began to travel throughout the Silmerie.
Thus, it was told that a disciple of Brohmar became in flames while praying and hadn't suffered any burns, or that a Paladin of Nerhacte had fully healed a dying person. In Agrimaar, a disciple of Aelien seemed able to completely disappear into the shadows while in Ha-Dys, a scribe of Stabia could freeze time within a few seconds! It was even said that a woman had resurrected her husband by praying Yshante.
The gods had offered to men some powers and extraordinary abilities, but for what purpose ?
To stand in the way of Chaos... and perhaps win ?
The story will tell.
Your story."

Game crashes even after running server.exe. and updating Java. Very disappointed. They keep making bad games these days. Not recommended. Of course they will release a patch but the damage has been done.
I've been playing for about a day now and I'm in the middle of the second dungeon. So far I must admit I like the game. The reports of JAVA issues such as requiring an older, outdated version of Java are no longer the case. The game is fun and kind of reminds me of some earlier MMOs like Everquest, or Everquest II perhaps, but this game is a lot of fun. I like the simplicity in design. You are in a small keep, there are shops to buy/sell equipment, a black market, and multiple dungeon types. There are NPCs who can offer quests, and one that can teleport you to the entrance of a dungeon that you have access to. Your hero goes up levels anhd then also gains levels in Skills which grant the hero skill points to improve the known skills the hero has. I haven't experieinced any crashes or other potential problems. I've played for a few hours here and there since yesterday and never have I experieinced any issues. While the game is a lot of fun, it does have some areas that I woiuldn't sa...
Perhaps if it were in EA, and alpha state, I could see a potential, for an MMO, dungeon diving fun adventure. The problem is it's not Early Access, and it's incredibly unpolished. The idea has potential, unfortunately this feels like a project that ended in the early stages, and trying to grab some money on the way out. If you take this idea, MMO style, polish the fighting, add in grouping mechinism through steam, it could be really fun. As it stands it feels like the bare minimum was put in to get something out the door. The fighting, it's like a very early attempt at cloning your MMO style fighting, but with absolutely no polish, and the AI you can kite back until they run in place and seem to get stuck. The only thing I learned from this game, is I wish someone would come out with a game that would emulate the raids/dungeons of WoW, balance it so you can solo, or do like flex mode in WoW where you can add in randoms. You can even make the trinity required, for groups...woul...
This game launched with alot of problems and still has things that have to be worked out before you really get going. Like changing your buttons to WASD because the defualt movement controls are insaine which isn't all that easy. You have to alter the hotkeys file yourself which can be found in the games folder.(in the steam folder) After I got this game up and running I've really been having a great time with it. Not only are the monsters fairly hard to deal with until you've gotten familiar with them but random monsters spawn in every so often just to through off your rhythm and force you to deal with the unexpected. The gaphics feel low fi and there are some bugs but all in all I'd much rather be playing this than all that free to play mmo nonsenese going on out there right now. I have one chr level 4 and another at 10, I am excited to level up more. I really enjoy only having about 6 different skills(per character) that have points added to them as you level. Its simple yet for...
POS does not even run. There is an old post stating you can get it running if you run old versions of Java which arent easy to find. For me i could not get this game running even after trying just about every version of Java JRE there was (version 7 +8). It even tells you which Java software to run then redirects you to a newer version which doesn't work. Bottom line, Its broke and they arent around to fix it.
Goodness what do we have here! a game that decides to crash STEAM! yes, it crashes my steam client. I am going to have to try this another time on my old XP computer that i can dumb grade to java 7 instead of messing around with my main pc. Currently I do not recommend this game unless you like jumping through hoops and special magic tricks to get it to work. Perhaps others have more hair to pull out than I do with games like these. Make sure to wear a baseball hat to prevent hair pulling..
Game doesn't work. Looks like it's reliant on an old insecure version of java that shouldn't be installed on anything in order to work. Fix your game! I'm returning it.
Very interesting game. Starting with all skills and specializing them in a spellbook is a very good aspect. Difficulties system is a real challenge.
Do not buy this game, it does not work. STEAM should remove it. If you follow the directions (downloading and installing an older version of JAVA) you will greatly increase you chances of being hacked. Older versions of JAVA are susceptible! Remember when JAVA entire code was on the black market a few years ago. Though the game looks fun, I would not know. Some friends and I tried to play and could not get past the server page, even following the default instructions did not work and who is going to install an older version of JAVA to even try to get it to run. This game was made in 2015, not 2005 and should run. Support your product or pull it.
