This is about as abstract and avant-garde as you can get. Surprisingly captivating to play, even though it suits the "walking simulator" tag. Much like any dream, or realm beyond space and time, whatever logic that exists keeps changing--sometimes gradually, sometimes suddenly. That manifests here in the form of pseudo-hazards and light puzzles, so the game stays interesting throughout its short length. It's subtly well-designed. I thought I'd get bored of walking through area after area of recursive geometry. And worse, being lost in that geometry, wandering for far too long. But I nearly always progressed without issue, thanks to visual and auditory cues. There's also a sprint button, meaning you don't need to move at a snail's pace for the whole thing. I found the atmosphere incredibly haunting. I've seen other games utilize shifting shapes to create trippy, artsy experiences, but none have given me goosebumps like this. The visceral chills I felt after completing a level, when th...

Great visualization of what we feel
Have you ever touched a blanket and you were like damn that's a nice blanket? This game is like that feeling but for your eyes
I've been following lvl374's work for a long while on social media, so to hear they developed a game with Playism to showcase their art, I absolutely had to check it out. Their artworks have always been, in a sense, very trippy. Mixing both an abstract style, while maintaining a bit of minimalism. The game itself shows that off extremely well, not to mention it's ambient soundtrack which fits it perfectly. Overall, a short but beautiful game. Highly recommend this one.
Nausea Warning! AVOID If you are photo sensitive to very high contrast black and white flashing, moire and noise flickering. Alot of the visuals are also made of pixel thin lines so a 4K monitor is recommended to properly render as much of the image as possible otherwise they will render as additional flickering dots and lines buzzing around your screen. Basically play the ending of the Interstellar movie inside the Tesseract where you are presented at every level with a relatively simple puzzle maze to basically chase a skirt. The beginning of every level will be in the same room and that is where your auto checkpoint will be saved.
I prefer unique over polished, and this game is definitely both. It is very abstract, in fact so much that in some scenes it is hard to determine in what type of space you are. Some of these vistas are impressive, but it can also easily get tiring. In general it is more similar to a walkable art gallery than a game. Some levels even look like art exhibitions - there are corridors with sculptures behind a glass. The quality varies, some feel fresh and impactful, some seem just like repetitive bunch of rectangles. The music on the other hand definitely is bad. It is very minimalistic noise/ambient which gets tiring after 10 minutes and this game takes 2 hours. Sometimes it tries to enhance the mood, but it is rare enough you can consider turning it off and playing something different. It is strange that this game is so linear. You must go through all chapters and all scenes within chapters in the exact given order, there is not even a menu option to come back to them. And most of them ...
I do not understand what this piece of software is, exactly. I like it nonetheless.
