Fantastic Rogue Like mixed with Dynasty Warriors. Huge roster of characters. Diverse builds. Plays similar to games like Hades. Isometric, Aim your attacks, Dash, upgrade your stats. Tons of meta progress as well as varied run progression. It is a game that repeats itself often. If you need great diversity of gameplay it is not here. You're going to be slaying thousands of enemies as fast as you can. You're going to unlock characters and weapons and upgrades requiring you to continue to kill the same thousands of enemies you killed seconds before. The story is simple. Its not about the story. Its about the slaying of thousands of peasants in hell. If you played Dynasty Warriors and love the mindless slaughter of thousands of enemies, you'll enjoy this too.
an interesting game - didn't expect KOEI can make this series great again
This game is more like a hybrid between a Warriors game and the Vampire Survivors style of games. And honestly, it doesn't feel quite like it's for fans of either. There's the button mashing you get with a Warriors games, but not quite the weapons you get with Vampire Survivors or other games like it. It feels more like it's about expanding and recruiting your team and then getting everyone out instead and just watching them wipe the field like a Musou attack would. The one positive thing would say is that we do get some of the characters from the Warriors Orochi series back again, especially some that feel like they haven't been seen since Musou All Stars. I'd definitely recommend it over Dynasty Warriors 8, 9, or Origins for those who are fans of the older games.
This game is is everything I've ever wanted in a game. Fast-paced, DW/Diablo-like gameplay, to annihilate thousands of enemies.

A fun and different take to the Warriors saga, Giving it a hack and slash, Rougelike feel. I find it really fun but I feel like the build up to bosses is short lived .
