Don't Mess With Bober

i was not a fan of this game. by all accounts, i should have been. it's a short comedic horror game. but it misses the mark on both the horror and the comedic aspect. there's a couple jumpscares, but other than that... the beavers movements are very predictable, and boring. there's not really any challenge to the game whatsoever. the hardest part of the game is trying to escape a cave. the ai voices REALLY leave something to be desired and made me lose the majority of my interest the moment someone spoke in the game. it's just awful. don't recommend getting this game, maybe on sale for like $2... but even that... is questionable.

I wanted to like this game, but the AI voices are AWFUL. It's also *too* linear. Like someone guiding you through a tight path with rails. Why bother playing if you can't do anything? I can't even just look around. I'm glad it was just $5.

This game was HILARIOUS!!! I only wish it had gone on longer. When I think of comedic horror type games that I've played... now this one ranks up in the top for sure. Usually my reference would always be to a game called "Maize"... but "Don't Mess With Bober" has cemented itself as one of my favorite comedic horror games of all time. So if you're looking for a horror game that's going to make you laugh (probably even more than you jump)... then "Don't Mess With Bober" is a sure win.

pretty fun story, coulda gone a lot of ways with this idea. I had a good time playing it, I wanted more jump scares though.
