Pains me to give a negative review to it, as I enjoy most of it, but, the lack of a save system, and most importantly, an option to remove head motion, makes this game drop from an 8 out of 10 to a 3. Its a shame, that in this day and age, devs have to be constantly reminded that some effects, like head bob or camera shake can make people seriously ill. And while that still happens Ill start to give a negative review to any game that doesn't give an option to remove those effects. (I'll change my review if and when this option is added.)

no toggle for head bob, no adjustable settings, terrible cam effect distortion which cant be turned off. feels like its just jumping on the backrooms bandwagon. abit of a cash grab imo
"The Backrooms: Expedition" feels like one of the developer's first projects. They just wanted to take a shot at the Backrooms and have a bit of fun. The game isn't outright bad, I've played way worse, but I don't think it deserves to be paid; that's why this is a negative review. The Good: - Good graphics, admittedly. - Responsive controls - While the game feels like an asset flip, the assets actually feel like they belong to a common art style and they mesh relatively well together, which most games of this caliber can't pull off. The Bad: - Very short. Finished the game in exactly 20 minutes. - Level design feels uninspired. The point of a Backrooms game is to be able to make a barren environment interesting; this game doesn't quite cut it. It mostly feels like an empty map with random models added as an afterthought, more than being designed with its decoration in mind. - Low quality horror. The painted arrows and text such as "He's watching" on the walls were more corny than any...
Welp, decided to check this out. Price was cheap so I thought why not.. You are definitely getting what you paid for. The "jump scares" arnt even there, which I was really hoping for. The movement is laggy bad! Does it have potential? ehhh prob not but beat the whole game in like 30 min. First run through! if I could get my money back i would.
