Cultivation Story: Infinite Sword Realm

SWWWWWOOOOOOOORRRDSSS. The game has 2 characters you can play as right now, each with their own decks and synergies. If you enjoy card games and Chinese stuff, this is the game for you. I really like the art style and the sword theme, everything is SWORDS. The game is early access so expect things to change or be expanded upon, the developer frequently updates so if you buy right now, there will always be a new thing to check out as it updates.

A very good idea so far, but on average people should wait for the full release. If you've played the other cultivation story game this one will scratch a couple of the same itches, but while the framework is there its still lacking in a lot of important features that made the other cultivation story really enjoyable. One of the biggest problems right now is that the rounds end too early, not letting the player all of the cultivation levels even when really focusing on them. If you're coming from games like slay the spire though the rounds will feel too long, around an hour to two hours so far. The cultivation paths are enjoyable but lacking in synergy, it would be better if there were interactions between max level paths. I'm looking forward to seeing where this game goes because it appears to be very actively updated so far :)

Love the idea of the game, its fun although it's pretty short. It was kickin ma bum till I got used to gameplay so I was pleased it was harder than the demo. For awhile I was confused on why I couldn't unlock the third character, then read that third character will come in future updates. Can't wait for them to add onto the game!!!!
