About This Game

Step into the suffocating void of Research Facility G-1-6, now eerily silent after an unexplained communication blackout. As a lone operative, your mission is to reestablish contact and uncover the truth behind the disruption. Armed with the AEGIS Scanner, you’ll explore the facility’s shadowed halls, revealing hidden details and tracking what the eye cannot see. But danger lurks in the darkness, and something unknown watches from the shadows. Stay sharp, stay silent, and survive long enough to uncover what’s really going on here.

Incoming Message from Command:

"Operative, this is a priority alert. Research Facility G-1-6 has gone dark. Your mission: reestablish contact and investigate the communication blackout. You're equipped with standard-issue gear, including the AEGIS-scanner and a flashlight. Primary objective: restore comms with facility management. If that's not possible, retrieve all critical research data - it's highly classified. We expect regular status updates."

Connect your Microphone to the game adding a new layer of tension and immersion as you try to stay quiet.

This game had me fooled goin' in. I didn't think it was a horror game but lo and behold haha. It reminds me of The Voidness. I like the concept. We have to use a scanner to explore a facility that has gone dark. We may as well be blind. The flashlight barely does anything. So we'll be dependin on the scanner. The atmosphere is done nicely. I do think voice overs would've help a lot with the storytellin' and atmosphere. I'm intrigued enough to see how the story ends. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/arnKL_vx-jQ

An intense awesome experience with one of my favourite Asthetics, the LIDAR making a return in this game. The game has a very scary threat that keeps you on your toes. Coupled with voice detection so the enemy can hear you. This makes for a epic stealth experience. Took a few hours to complete but I did not explore all the areas fully yet. I enjoyed it immensely.

I'm a big fan of spooky, horror-esque games, and this one immediately caught my eye while browsing new releases on Steam. Most of the game takes place in a destroyed research facility where a mysterious monster roams, and you have to stay quiet to survive. The atmosphere is oppressive, and the sense of dread builds with every step you take through the dark, dilapidated halls. There were several moments when I found myself holding my breath, on the edge of my seat as the monster passed by, praying it wouldn't sense me. The tension is palpable, and it constantly keeps you on edge, which is exactly what I look for in a horror game. One of the unique features of this game is the integrated mic audio input, which made things even more intense because I was streaming when playing this game. My chat loved trying to get me to react and accidentally alert the monster, adding a fun, interactive layer to the experience. I could feel my heart racing every time someone tried to get me to laugh or ...

Fantastic work of art by the developers. If you take your time, you can really take in the details and have an enjoyable experience likely ranging from 2-3 hours of solid gameplay. There's a little bit of a learning curve, I recommend you figure out how to beat the game on your own! I streamed this game live on twitch and the developers stopped by and hung out for a couple of hours, really cool guys that really know what they are doing! Looking forward to their next work.

Its a short game, but the mechanics are solid. You won't know what you're doing at times, but luckily the scanner colours things you can interact with in green. Wouldve loved this game to somehow be longer, although they'd have to fiddle with making the flashlight more useful; since the only time i used it was to check the nameplates of rooms

great game, only complaints are it's short, but that's just me wishing I could play more, and I couldn't figure out how to get the mic working, but I think that was my computer. Apart from all that, great game, scared the shit out of me.

Quantum Sleeper is a bit of a combination of Scanner Sombre and Alien Isolation and it's quite fun to play. A research facility has stopped communicating with the outside world. You have been sent to find out what has happened and to retrieve the research data. The facility is completely dark. You have a flashlight, which can only illuminate a few feet before you, but you also have a scanner that paints a 3D pixelated image of your surroundings. As you enter more deeply into the facility, you encounter something hostile. You cannot see it with your flashlight, but it registers as a wavering red presence on your scanner. As it moves, it distorts your scanned image of your surroundings. If it moves quickly, and it can move very quickly, it completely erases your location scan, which leaves you blind. The entity produces very hostile, unnerving sounds. It's quite menacing and uncomfortable when you know that it is near. If it finds you, you are instantly killed. So you have to use st...

I've just spent an hour with Quantum Sleeper, and I can already feel the game pulling me in. The sound design is absolutely spot-on, creating a perfect mix of suspense and a continuous sense of eeriness. When I opened the first gate, the creaks and screeches had me thinking, 'Okay, we're in for a ride here.' The idea of navigating with the scanner is very creative. Compared to the traditional torch (which you also have), it adds a whole new layer of visualization to the environment. It's something I've never seen before, and it forces you to perceive your surroundings in a completely different way. Overall, if you love sci-fi horror and immersive tension, this game is definitely a must-try!
